[OPEN] I'm still cooking
Who: The Eleventh Doctor and YOU
What: The Doctor's gotten cursed and comes from right after regenerating from Ten to Eleven. Fun times ensue.
When: Day 411
Where: All over Asgard?!
Rating: G?
[ Falling out of the TARDIS and ending up here is a little disorienting. Or is that the regeneration? Maybe a bit of both.
After checking out the new bracelet thing and contacting the network, he starts wandering. He's very notably raggedy (also wet), with tears in his trousers and shirt. And are there singes? And for anyone who's seen him around or knows him, there's a distinct lack of bow tie, replaced with a regular old tie. What?
Really, with how bad his motor skills are, it's only a matter of time before he runs into someone. ]
((OOC: Despite the written set-up, this a catch-all log for my one-day Eleventh Hour curse, and there can be scenes outside of this. You're very free to use it though! If you want to do something else, feel free to PM me or pp/ping me on
Tossino or IM me at AIM @ thetossedone. Or. Something. Yes.
There's also a network post! Which you're free to check out.))

If it wasn't so annoying, he'd just leave it be because it's getting exhausting to argue about it. And maybe it's a little unnerving to be told he's been here for quite some time, only in his future, and this is all ... really confusing. Or maybe it's just because of what he came from?
"I just don't see what difference it makes," he continues, frustrated, and swipes a hand out. "If I land somewhere, and it turns out that I've actually landed there before from their point of view, but that was actually in my future, well. That's just something that happens with time travel, sometimes. But then it doesn't mean I've lost those memories. I just haven't gained them yet. What makes this different, hm?"

He pauses. "I realise this frustrates you, but you need to realise how important this is. You've been cursed. Someone acted and made you this way. That is the difference."

And since he basically said all that in one breath, he inhales deeply and turns away. Takes a sip of his tea. Rubs his fingers over his brow.
This is so tiring.

"What, because they brought me here they gave me those memories?"
Nope, he can't get behind that thinking.

Is what what he is now? Angry. Hasn't he been angry enough as his predecessor? Or was that another sort?

When the tea's finished, he still doesn't turn around but he does talk again.
"I still don't think saying I lost them is right." He sniffs. "Are the gods really that powerful? So they can just ... mess about with my timeline."
It makes him uncomfortable. And, once again, angry. Honestly.

Of course, in a way, the proof is also right here. In the fact that Brax is here, and that several Doctors can be here with seemingly no repercussions. Who are they? The gods.
He presses his knuckles to his forehead, takes a very slight step to turn just enough that he could look over his shoulder and see Brax properly, should he like to. And he drops his hand, forms it as though he's trying to grip something.
"But why? What's the point?"

He's sure Brax already knows that, but he hasn't told anyone and maybe it's about time. He's tired already and he's only just started. Really, he should be sleeping, but he's too restless for it.
Stupid regeneration.

He knows about Alice already, but. What?

He's not the marrying kind! Is he?

"My wife."
He gets married? Dear lord. He won't even think about just who it might be to, because he has a perfectly good hunch.

He crumples, leans back against the desk and covers his face with his palm. That's a bit more than he needs. This whole day has been full of a bit more than he needs and things he doesn't need at all.

"I've only been alive half an hour," he says, incredulous.
