[open] ☽ Tea Room Mingling Log
Who: Anyone who'd like tea or company.
What: An open mingling log.
When: In the days shortly after Baldr's post
Where: the Hrafn Tea Room (in Odin District, near the library)
Rating: Likely G, but PG at most?
The Hrafn Tea Room's design is simple and shows its owner's taste for blues, greens, and grays. It's only here and there that the warmer color of Odin district shows itself in brief glimmers, such as on the aprons of the staff. Most of said staff are natives, but they have rather more color than most. Perhaps it's Yuri's influence, but like him, they are also quite polite, prompt, and dedicated to their jobs. They are welcoming in manner without being overly cheerful.
Located so close to the library, the tea room is very friendly to readers. Off the main seating area is a separate, quieter reading room, with many comfortable chairs for the use of those who wish to read or study in relative peace and silence.
There is a hand-lettered sign in the window that reads "Help Wanted", in neat, elegant script.
The proprietor himself can be found at a table at times, sitting alone more often than not, thoughtfully enjoying one of his own blends and perhaps a book.
[[ooc: Open for all to linger and mingle, to relax after recent troubles. Anyone in search of employment need only approach the counter and ask for the owner, and he shall appear. If you'd like to have a closed thread with someone, no problem! Just mark it as such.]]

Some people have said it is charming, though that comes from creepers sometimes. [ Let her pull up a seat for Euri. Princessssss please sit dooowwn. ]
no subject
[She's only asking because it's useful knowing who the creepers in asgard are B(!!! And she's only sitting because it's more comfortable goddamnit.]
no subject
At least the ones I've met. Buuuuut there was this one guy that was having a kick watching me run around places in distress, but he made up for it by showing me around and buying groceries the next day.
... Still a creeper though. What about you? Do you know any? I would like to steer clear from them. [ Though maybe that means she will go meet them and sits on their backs after pro-wrestling! Creepers must be governed!
Also would you like tea, Euri? She is idly showing her some of the choices she can pick and stuff. ]
no subject
And even though she thinks Yifei is a jerk, she doesn't think she's creepy or would misuse it. So she'll start listing off names on her fingers.]
Claire, Diva, Johan... umm, one of the Lucifers is supposed to be bad....
no subject
Claire and Johan? I've talked to both on my first day here and they seem nice. Though Claire is kind of crazy, not that that is really a problem, but Johan is...
I don't how what to say about him really.
I think it's how he has all these kids with him he kind of reminds me of a werewolf with an ice cream truck. Feeding kids all these ice cream, leading them to his house, and then devouring all the fat ones when the full moon hits.
[ Fine, Euri. She'll just choose your tea and make her own! Also there is a pause as she looks very unsure at what she said too. ]
That might just be me thinking how it would be back home with pedophiles and things like that... So half of me thinks he's a good guy? Reading stories to children cannot be a bad thing. I haven't looked up much about them on the network. [ Scratching her cheek, she'll take a sip of her tea as she sits on the other chair. ]
Why would you say that though, Euri? I'm pretty curious.
no subject
I've only talked to him once, but I got a warning that he's dangerous. So I'm not really sure, but it can't hurt to be cautious.
Claire a gigantic asshole who hits on girls and proposes to them just to screw with them. I don't think he's dangerous but he's definitely a creep.
Diva's definitely dangerous, though. She's a vampire, and she attacked and left a guy here to die. [She's huffing, running a hand through her hair.] She's practically got a damn hobby threatening to kill me.
no subject
... Ouch. That's not really a great way to get onto a girl's good side if you're not going to follow through. That's weird... since he gave me a clean rag to clean up and, really, he seems like a nice guy and offered me a job at the circus or something? I don't know. [ CLAIIIREE SHE WANTS TO BELIEVE IN YOU and so forth she'll drink some more tea. ] I'll also... look out for his creepiness and assholery.
A vampire after you? You didn't do anything horrid to provoke her or anything, right? [ Since even Yifei has caught that Euri isn't exactly the sharpest crayon in the box. Though the other part like leaving a guy here dead isn't all too comforting either. ]
no subject
Me and the kid who was attacked told everyone about it over the bracelets, which got her killed. [Euri's still glad she got Shu to do that, though. And she has no problems that Diva was killed.] She's still bitter about that, and I think she might be jealous because I've got a better relationship with this other guy she wants to eat.
no subject
... Jealous. [ Raises eyebrows. ] Over a guy she wants to eat.
Wouldn't it be easier just to eat him rather than drag you down, too? If she wants him so bad. [ She'll even add a nomnom noise after. ]
no subject
Um, well.... [And here's where it gets awkward.] I think she wants to have sex with him, too.
no subject
So... she wants to eat him... and use him for her own pleasure? [ She tilts her head and some more silence. ]
Is your friend a boy-toy, Euri?
no subject
[What is modern slang 8(]
no subject
It usually happens toward younger men and older women... I guess. [ Don't mind that she also does this once in a while in a more subtle way. ]
no subject
... I don't know. He told me he'd be careful, but he has a bad habit of doing stupid things.
[She'll take an absent sip of her tea.]
no subject
Oh... Well, that'll be his fault if he gets into trouble with this Diva! You warned him. [ She also sips her own tea. ]
Unless you're planning to save him anyway.
no subject
no subject
Ohooo? Do you like this guy? [ She leaaaaans in and gives Euri a playful accusing look. ]
no subject
tsunicy look.]It's complicated.
no subject
That's cute!
no subject
no subject
Some good traits... somewhere. [ She gives her a sweet smile. ]
no subject
Yeah... that stuff is just usually overshadowed by his assholeishness.
no subject
BUT SHE ALREADY SHIPS THEM. ]
Then he will be like putty in your hands!
no subject
WHAT.]
...... That's a really scary thought, to be honest.
