[OPEN] I'm still cooking
Who: The Eleventh Doctor and YOU
What: The Doctor's gotten cursed and comes from right after regenerating from Ten to Eleven. Fun times ensue.
When: Day 411
Where: All over Asgard?!
Rating: G?
[ Falling out of the TARDIS and ending up here is a little disorienting. Or is that the regeneration? Maybe a bit of both.
After checking out the new bracelet thing and contacting the network, he starts wandering. He's very notably raggedy (also wet), with tears in his trousers and shirt. And are there singes? And for anyone who's seen him around or knows him, there's a distinct lack of bow tie, replaced with a regular old tie. What?
Really, with how bad his motor skills are, it's only a matter of time before he runs into someone. ]
((OOC: Despite the written set-up, this a catch-all log for my one-day Eleventh Hour curse, and there can be scenes outside of this. You're very free to use it though! If you want to do something else, feel free to PM me or pp/ping me on
Tossino or IM me at AIM @ thetossedone. Or. Something. Yes.
There's also a network post! Which you're free to check out.))

He closes his mouth, puffs his cheeks out for a moment, and manages a:
"Brax?"

Thor House Early Morning
Although.... for some odd reason he was... what was he even wearing? And why was he all wet!]
Doctor? [She set down the dish and came over to him.]
Doctor whatever are you wearing?
no subject
He was just going to leave quietly (or less so - he was about to trip on the stairs, there), but. Apparently not. ]
Oh, hello! Sorry, is this your house?
[ He points over his shoulder with his thumb. ]

What a silly sort of question you've gone and asked. Is this because you've not had breakfast yet?

Doctor!

No, no, no, no. What? No. It can't be ...
But it is. He stops, and stares, and doesn't want to believe it, but it is. It's Rose. ]
Rose?
[ But how? ]
no subject
You alright, there? You look like you got tossed in a river.
[She reaches out as if to grab a hold of the tie, but draws her fingers back, instead looking up into his face. What she doesn't say yet is, Why are you dressed like my Doctor? Because no matter the mystery there, the clothes look pretty beat up, and she's quickly checking for apparent injuries.]

[ He shoves his hands into his pockets. Licks his lips. This city is already turning out to become his ruin. Although ...
This is something of a test, he supposes. How effective was the regeneration? ]

He hasn't really counted on running into his futuremost self, though, and is almost certainly not expecting ay more trouble with the regeneration than he's already seen in their conversation earlier. But that is, perhaps, the nature of life, with them.]

Eleven topples right over. ]
no subject
Are you alright?
[He's offering a hand up even as he speaks, though, which is at least a step in the right direction.]
no subject
... Fine. Just fine.

Instead she forced herself up and out in order to find him. It would be better that way, better to see him with her own eyes and touch him with her hands. Maybe she'd bite him again for causing so much grief with his little trip back through time. Knowing the streets as well as she does, it doesn't take too long to find him looking as though he crawled through her corridors on his hands and knees. (Not far from the truth.)
When she does spot him, the TARDIS doesn't hesitate to step into his personal space to grab his tie.]
It's not an apple you need.

No?
no subject
Apples are rubbish. It's not what your hilarious enormous chin needs to get through this. What you need... [A slight distracted pause.] Ah! That's right, you were fish fingers and custard.

"Doc?" He approaches casually, eyebrows still raised, a part amused and part questioning look on his face. "You alright?"
no subject
And now the Doctor finally realises how something is wrong. It should be difficult to look at Jack. And don't get him wrong; it's nice that it isn't! But it should be. And that is just not right.
Did regeneration do something?
He blinks a few times. Rubs his fingers over his eyes. Stares for a moment.
"That's not right."
no subject
"You're human, Doc. I don't look wrong because you've lost the senses I look wrong to. Sorry." And there is genuine regret in the look he gives the other man. It's the messed up nature of the city, of the situation they're caught in. But- at least they're in it together, right?
"Welcome to Asgard."
