Who: Your local forensics department, hospital staff, curious bystanders, others.
What: Scenario A: A regular day in the office (during a musical curse) | B: Out on the job.
When: A: Day 84 morning | B: Day 84 afternoon
Where: A: The forensics department office, third floor of the hospital attached to the laboratory. | An alleyway around a manhole in Odin district, close to the wall and the border with Thor.
Rating: PG13 for possible grisly details.

[It's not until he's dismissed the team to their various tasks and is coming up from the sewer for a much needed airbreak that Conan realises that something is off. It takes him another moment to realise why. The smell of tobacco is rare enough in Asgard that he noted the woman at the back of the crowd, even if he didn't register. Now the crowd has thinned but she's still there.

Conan's turned interviewing over to Beckett to lead (how many people are going to want to be interviewed by a seven-year-old after all?) but he's curious enough to approach her himself.]

Excuse me, Oneechan! Do you live around here?

[thawing]

[She doesn't at all know who Conan is here or what he's doing at a crime scene, she assumes he's the child of one of the investigators. Even if she hadn't just arrived, she might still have a time of trying to make sense of it.

The look Lisbeth gives the kid borders on hostile, but due to his apparent age she seems to be attempting to be less abrasive out of the gate.]

No.

[Lisbeth takes one last drag off her cigarette and inhales deeply before hissing it out between her teeth, directing it towards the sky. She crushes it under the toe of her boot before she speaks again.]

Just looking.

[Her accent is faintly Swedish, if one had heard it before. But she speaks in mumbles and whispers more often than not.]

[Conan's been so spoilt by the indulgence of the grey people and the willingness of most travellers to overlook his age that the abruptness is a surprise.]

[thawing]

[She shakes her head a tad vigorously in response, dead set on giving nothing away.]

I'm fine.

Ah ... well, if you're sure ...

Ne, maybe you can help us! Can I ask you some questions ... ?

[thawing]

[Blink. Blink.

That's her giving you permission to ask. But nobody speaks Lisbeth here. orz]

[Well, it's not a refusal ... Maybe she's going to wait to hear the questions to decide? Taking the chance, Conan glances at his notes.]

Ah ... have you heard any talk about anyone going missing anytime in the last month? Late teens, or a small women, a grey citizen ...

[thawing]

[She bristles suddenly at that. What could she be thinking?]

I just arrived her a few days ago.

[holmes_fanatic]

So you've just gotten settled in then?

[Conan closes his notebook regretfully.] Thanks for your time, um -- ne, what's your name?

[thawing]

[She really doesn't want to give out her name. Especially near a crime scene. If she knew that Conan was part of the forensics team she would have just left right there, but right now she thinks he's a child. So she introduces herself with no hidden reluctance.]

Salander. Lisbeth Salander.

[holmes_fanatic]

It's nice to meet you. I'm Edogawa Conan.

[Conan bows politely.]

Ne ... I hope you manage to get settled in easily, Salander-san! I'd better let you go.
