What: Scenario A: A regular day in the office (during a musical curse) | B: Out on the job.
When: A: Day 84 morning | B: Day 84 afternoon
Where: A: The forensics department office, third floor of the hospital attached to the laboratory. | An alleyway around a manhole in Odin district, close to the wall and the border with Thor.
Rating: PG13 for possible grisly details.

By the way, I encourage Forensics people to reply to both parts of the post, thread jack and jump around -- this is to get an idea of how our characters interact in their daily working lives! /o/]

Who is Ema? Another lawyer?

She's a forensic investigator/detective back home. She's got all sort of cool gadgets she lends me and Polly.

Cool gadgets? I wanna here about them!

Let's see... there was the footprint casting kit... the atroquinne tester... and the really neat x-ray machine.

There was also that weird white powder daddy had us give her, but we never did find out what that was...

Ms. Skye. She apparently gave it to daddy a while back.

Oh! Oh right, it was fingerprint powder! I almost forgot.

Well it was weird before we knew what it was.

So Conan, what got you all interested in investigative stuff? [Beware the human lie detector!]

I don't know! I've always loved mysteries, even from an early age!

Really? I guess they are pretty interesting. I'd never really thought about it until I started helping Polly.

Well, how did you become interested in magic then?

[mybffmrhat]

I'll have you know that I come from a very long line of magicians. [Three generations isn't that long, Trucy.] They're sort of a big deal back home.

[Now he has a new office, with an even younger boss! Someday he will surely be supervised by an infant. It's only a matter of time.

Also, magicians do have a way of surprising him when they appear out of nowhere. He starts and turns, then smiles.]

Oh, hi, Trucy.

[He all but preens; you know how he likes to be professional.] I've been working on getting everything in order. Though everyone else has too, of course. It's looking good, isn't it? It's nice to have an office again.

Somehow, Apollo doesn't think that's what magicians are really supposed to do, but Trucy is good at it.

He continues to preen, until he hears that "but".]

But it's missing the personal touch, you know! It's so drab and official looking! You need something here that really says "Apollo"!

[Yes, that requires both quotes and italics.]

[He's a little bit unsure about that. He's not sure what's going to say "Apollo", except--]

I'm here. And that says Apollo pretty loudly, I think.

[Especially considering his Chords of Steel, his proud expression seems to say.]

[You can't just yell at people when they come in, Apollo...]

But what if you're not here? Then nothing says "Apollo."

[Well, he can. Or he can greet them in a ringing, authoritative tone! Yes. That sounds excellent.]

Do I really need something to say Apollo when I'm not here? Because--I won't be here then, so it fits.

[He taps his finger against the side of his jaw, thoughtfully.]

How about the fact that everything's nicely organized? Or that all the filing's done!

Of course you do! Look at the Wright Anything Agency Office! Even if we aren't there, you know what it is we do just by looking at it.
