Where: Loki District, including Sky's Prize.
Rating: M FOR MOE.

[Open log for anyone who happens to be in the Loki district during the hugging event! Hop in, tag other characters, and/or make your own threads. Thread starters, please make sure to include your character's location (Welcome Hall, streets, shops, etc.) and the exact day (89 for general hugging, and 90 for sticky hugs) in the subject line for convenience. [ Axel don't even lie you used to sit on his bed to wake him up you would love a hug Roxas will look and...welp, also surprisingly there's not a lot of hugging urges going on either just yet so he'll roll his eyes (at the Gods) and hold out the second soda he brought ]

What happened around the time you showed up...? [ Since he's not 100% sure on those details ]

Something about people's figments of their imaginations stabbing them.

[ he takes the soda and twists the cap open, letting the air rush out before taking the plastic off and taking a drink. ]

Oh...right, I remember that. [ When Olette stabbed him and that whole messed happened. He'd lost track of time between then and meeting Axel--everything just happened way too fast it seemed.

he looks down at his soda without taking a sip ]

[ he sees that expression fall, mister. axel looks at him questioningly while pulling the mouth of the soda bottle away from his. ]

-- ah. You too, huh?

[faints]

...Yeah. [ It's not something he generally talks about so he's not really wanting to offer any details, but he can feel Axel's stare on him and continues to look pointedly at his own drink ] I was okay though--I just had to spend a few days in the hospital, that's all.

[ well. he's quiet, thoughtful for a moment, turning away and placing his drink on the ledge... ]

[ ... but then, a smirk. hey, it could almost pass for a smile, too! ]

Well, I'm here now, so if there's anyone bugging you, real or not, you know just who to call! No one's sending you back to the hospital on my watch, you got that?

[ HE IS TRYING TO SOUND LIKE HE'S JOKING HERE, BUT IT'S ABSOLUTELY TRUE. ]

[ AWWWWWWW AXEL SEE THAT'S THE SORT OF BEST FRIEND THING YOU SHOULD BE DOING. Roxas blinks and looks up, a bit surprised, but....touched. Really touched. ]

Axel...

[ he balks on the inside. roxas, why do you look so much like a puppy right now? a small, (nervous?) laugh escapes his throat and he lifts a hand to scratch the back of his head because his tells are becoming so painfully obvious. but by the time he opens his mouth to speak, he is playing it completely cool, and there's the faintest hint of a serious gravity in his voice to boot though he's trying to come across as cocky. ]

I'd just hate to be the person who tries.

What, you're gonna take on the Gods now? I think they're a bit out of your league.

[ He makes a joke of it but he's still very Obviously Touched as he smiles down at his can of soda, kicking his feet a little. Part of him wouldn't be surprised if Axel eventually did try something like that--he seems almost enough of a joker to do it. ]

[ he doesn't answer because roxas' instincts are right on the money. he would somehow try to mess right back at gods should they try to mess with him.

again, he forces a chuckle to try to diffuse the graveness going on in his brain right now, and he takes another quick swig of his drink. ]

So -- 'm I gonna have to guess what happened today or will you tell me eventually?

[ And just like that, without any effort it all it seems, Axel just undoes him and makes him fumble a little, glancing over meekly ]

Do we really have to talk about it?? I mean...you know what's been going around...

[ yes, roxas, he knows. he isn't the only person who's had to deal with their fair share dose of awkward. ]

What, you end up hugging some really cute girl? [ SMRKSNRKSMRK. ]

Just...a bunch of people. [ 90% of which were girls but we've all seen Riku's hair and Ven is already a didney princess so ]

[ nice dodge, roxas! except not. soda still in hand, he starts some small gesticulations. ]

It isn't that bad after a while is it, for someone like you? Now me, I felt like I've spent the last two days in hiding.

What, so you never got into hugging anyone? [ HE IS SKEPTICAL MISTER and just what is "someone like you" supposed to mean anyway hmmmm ]

If you aren't gonna spill, why should I? [ he asks the question through a laugh, giving him a playful nudge to the side. ]

Ugh...come on, if I said anything I know you'd just tease me or something. [ he will take that nudge, quickly taking a sip from his soda once Axel moves back ]

[ well, that's enough information to get that expression on his face to fall some. roxas are we going to have one of those talks? ]

[ You mean the talks where you don't actually explain girls at all? Quite possibly. ]

She sort of started...crying.

--But she was the one who hugged me, and I didn't do anything but apologize. [ BEFORE YOU ASSUME 8| ]

[ SOUNDS COMPLICATED. the corners of his mouth are tugged down to form a thoughtful expression and he brings a hand up to the level of his chin, tapping the top joint of his index finger lightly against his bottom lip. ]
