[Open log for anyone who happens to be in the Loki district during the hugging event! Hop in, tag other characters, and/or make your own threads. Thread starters, please make sure to include your character's location (Welcome Hall, streets, shops, etc.) and the exact day (89 for general hugging, and 90 for sticky hugs) in the subject line for convenience. [And, wheeling herself past Shion will be one Rei Hazama. Or, at least, she would be wheeling past her if the hugging urge hadn't kicked in again and she was now awkwardly hugging her from her position on the wheelchair, looking appropriately mortified.]

Everywhere (Day 89)

[And because of the fact that she lives in this district, Rei can be found just about everywhere before she decides to move on to Sigyn to further exploit her urge to hug others. Even though this urge had been an annoyance for a brief amount of time, she had come to realize that she could use this to her advantage. If everyone was doing it, then it provided an excellent opportunity for socialization and observation that she might not have had any other way.

She can be spotted wheeling herself out of the Welcome Hall, as well as around the district in general and stopping by various establishments for further observation. If you inquire her about why she's here, you can be absolutely sure she has an excuse ready.

Regardless, if you are one who is out an about on the streets of Loki, it's possible you may find yourself being awkwardly hugged by a visibly distressed teenage girl on a wheelchair. Or, it's also possible you might be the one sneaking up for a hug. Hugs are definitely a thing Rei will be doing today.]

[Hugs admittedly aren't dangerous. At all. (Well, not much. Depending.) But Apollo can't help but worry a little about Trucy, considering the way things have gone in Asgard before.

So he's going to come looking for her in Loki District. Even though this puts him at high risk for being hugged. Perhaps he should get over his worrywart tendencies, but it's not easy!]

[ axel's not necessarily the hugest fan of all the hugging that's going on, but he's not going to barricade himself in his room until everyone snaps out of it, either. that said, on day 89 you could find one (1) matchstick roaming around the district streets, AVOID AVOID AVOIDING because he doesn't like his personal space being violated by people he doesn't particularly care for ok.

but oh, every once in a while, the urge to dole out hugs becomes too strong to resist and maybe you'll find yourself in a stiff, awkward embrace. heavy emphasis on awkward, and a good amount on stiff as well — he is a nobody, and while he's good at putting a personality on display ... hugging's just too much. sry.

day 90 has him relegated to the loki house. he's still not going to let this event keep him to his room, but there are too many touchy-feely people in asgard and mindlessly paging through a book he isn't even interested in seems like a much better alternative than having a repeat of the day before. he's walking to the kitchen while reading, the book held in front of his face and close enough that the pages take up his vision. if he can't see you, he won't want to hug you. logic. ]

[Thankfully Loki's house is relatively small by Traveler numbers, so ??? had on planned to tap into his ability once he got out the door. Of course, things can never be that easy for him. Never was and never will be. He's so close to the entrance door that he can see it at the other side of the hallway...but he also spots someone in his peripheral view as he passes the kitchen. Despite trying to will himself forward and continue to the doorway, the additional function added to the system is commanding him otherwise. ???'s footsteps slow before he turns around and redirects him towards the other person.

........And it's just his luck that he recognizes that spiky red hair and black coat.

Darnnit, Axel, wrong place and wrong time. He's also trying so hard to hold himself back, mentally screaming for some escape option, but ???'s quickly cutting the distance between them against his will. His arms find their way around Axel's waist and his forehead finds the middle of his back--

[It doesn't really matter what day it is, because this right here? This is a very angry Magneto. You see, Erik is not exactly a fan of physical contact. He doesn't shy away from it, he just doesn't prefer it unless there is meaning behind the contact.

So this useless urge to suddenly become very close with every possibly stranger he sees? Not acceptable. Not acceptable in the least. He would be holed up in his room, but Erik does not like the knowledge that he doesn't have control over his own body. He will fight this, he will. It's also worse for some reason if he stays in his room, at least out here he can think of...other things.

Like how it could complicate things if he saw Charles any time soon. No, he needed to find Raven until this passed. Maybe stay in her room. Somewhere else, where he wouldn't...no. He can't even think about it.

And if one more of those imbeciles (translation: natives) tried to hug him, a murderous rage would most likely ensue.]

[Unfortunately for Erik, Charles just happens to be exploring the Loki district around this time. He'd seen the Sky's Prize marked on the city map and come to have a look. His time working with the government in locating Shaw had left him little time to have a night life as he used to, and now that he did have the free time, the idea was strangely unappealing. Working with the younger mutants had changed his priorities, it seems.

With so many of the Travelers under a hugging curse, of all things, Charles felt it would be best to purchase a bottle of scotch and enjoy it in the privacy of his own room.]

Castle's always been a free love kind of guy. The amount of women he's slept with is.. yeah don't ask. But hugging's a different thing altogether. What a nice way to show people you care about them. Not that he usually went around hugging people at random, but these days he was feeling really friendly - and very open to hugs from people of both sexes. Particularly women though. He would definitely hug back some hot women.
