You're... looking for me?
no subject
...Hm. Yes, I believe I am. [tucking that picture away again like it's no big deal friendless losers why. maybe if he worked on the art of subtlety it would be a little less creepy for everyone involved, but unfortunately, he doesn't care enough to try that.] I asked around for your name, I hope you don't mind. I want to be finished here as quickly as possible.
no subject
Uh... who are you?
no subject
I have a few questions for you.
no subject
Did I do something wrong?
no subject
The questions, now. Do you mind?
no subject
[the quicker they get through this, the better, right? at this point, he just wants to get back to his job, man.]
no subject
You haven't? My apologies. They seem to know you, at least to some degree, unless they just took your photograph while you were unaware. [sleep well with that knowledge...]
Let's start with your hobbies, then. What are some of your favorite ways to pass the time?
no subject
I... don't really do much. Most of the time I just read, if I'm not hanging out with people or working. [and even though he wants to be done with this as fast as possible, he can't help but ask:] What exactly is this for?
no subject
Think of it as a survey or something like that. A survey for points. [which is basically what it is! if you take out all of the creepier 'getting to know your target' parts of course] For every item I can check off of the list, points are awarded. For every question left unanswered or every item left undone, I imagine the chances of waking up with Sena's face pressed against your window grows by about five percent.
no subject
... That's the weirdest thing I've heard of in a long time.
no subject
[but back to more important matters than Hope's state of future suffering...! he flips back to the paper he had been looking at and scribbles something in the margin.] At any rate, I'll need a few of your dislikes now as well. A list of three ought to suffice.
no subject
[...but ok what is this. it's like they're playing a game—how much worse can this get?] Uh. Anything in particular, or...?
no subject
he gives the list another glance before shrugging.] There aren't any specifics listed here. I'd stick with some general things, though. Like... certain hobbies or activities, I suppose? [yes that is a question small talk is not one of the things he's good at]
no subject
I think weird surveys from strangers are somewhere on the list, too. [... yeah ok he couldn't resist letting that one slip.]
no subject
This isn't exactly my idea of a wonderful time either, but since I'm such a generous person, I'll give you a choice. You can either deal with me asking you these questions, or you can deal with Sena or Yozora. But I'll tell you now that I'm only asking the questions, do you really want to deal with the people who wrote them? [do you really want the Friendless Loser ringleaders in your life]
no subject
... No, it's fine. Sorry, that was pretty rude of me.
[...and yeah no that's ok]
no subject
It was a reasonable reaction, I'd likely have the same one if our situations were reversed. [no his reaction would probably be ten times more bratty and twenty times more violent] It would simply be in your best interest to humor me for the moment. I'll even go easy on you, it isn't as though they would be able to discern which bits of information are true or false unless they decide to take up stalking you.
[he doesn't sound like he's joking about that last bit at all...]
no subject
... All right. How many more questions are there?
no subject
also glancing over that list again] Let's see... There are nine more items to cross off, but only two of them are questions. [looking over that address question...] One of which I'll spare you.
no subject
no subject
But they might not have intended for this to be a question to ask directly in the first place.
no subject
The fact that it's supposed to be asked underhandedly makes it even creepier.
no subject
[but after he looks over the list again he realizes that none of these are suitable questions to ask strangers sena, yozora, what are you thinking... so instead he taps on his bracelet to send a text while speaking at the same time.]
I'll spare you the other question, on second thought. I'm assuming even they have their limits when it comes to causing discomfort in the people around them, so I doubt they'll double check. Allow me to check one more thing off of my list before leaving, then. [the text reads:] "First text" is quite simple compared to "ask address", I'd say.
no subject
Do I, uh, have to reply back by text, or...?
[this is so silly... but okay, he'll take it over creepiness any day.]
