END OF ARC 1: FOLKVANG SHELTER CATCH-ALL

[The moment the sirens sounded, the ladies of Folkvang Comfort House opened their doors. They cleared away their equipment and pulled out the supplies they'd gathered in advance, and began herding children, the elderly, and anyone who needed to hide into their buildings. For the duration of the battles, there will be food, shelter, warmth and safety here, though the smells and sounds of battle are never truly gone.]

[She looks a little confused, though.]

Why are you so determined to reform my attitude towards you? Do you even plan to talk again? Do tell me.

Oh, wow, way to judge me because I'm being annoyed at how much of a little brat you're being right now.

[A scoff.] Beats me. I'm just wondering what I did to make you all hissy.

Because maybe I'll do it again to you just to show how peeved I am.

You think I'm a brat, yet you're willing to go down to my level. How mature of you.

Yet how very interesting.

Me, a brat? You've got to be joking.

[supurrior]

You seem too invested in trying to get me to be nice to you. And you're still avoiding my question of why.

[Crosses her arms.]

Why? Because people don't act upset at me unless they have a reason, and you're being absolutely obtuse as to why. I don't want you to act nice to me, I'm just wondering why you didn't act nice to me in the first place if this is the first time we've met...or maybe you're just this much of a little prick 24/7. I don't know.

[supurrior]

If you say so. I just find being in the presence of fickle beings annoying, you being one of them. Are you satisfied now?

[fluturi]

Fickle beings...? What, the, hold on a second, how in the world am I fickle??!

[supurrior]

Considering how much you're giving into those annoyed emotions of yours, I'd say you're more fickle than you think you are. Hmph.

[fluturi]

Oh, right, said the little brat who is doing nothing but insulting me to my face.

[supurrior]

I did make an attempt to leave earlier, but you wanted me to say since you were so disturbed at the fact that someone was not treating you like a king. It was your choice to sit with these insults. You must be some kind of masochist. Is that it?

[fluturi]

[The "king" part is right, because he was technically like a king and he bristles at that, before folding his arms and frowning.]

Me, a masochist? Hardly. I just want to know what's going on, and if I have to wait for you to stop being insufferable and actually tell me the truth, than so be it.

[supurrior]

And I did tell you, this is just the way I deal with people like you. Isn't that a sufficient explanation?

[fluturi]

No. The answer doesn't satisfy me.

I felt like I've repeated this many times before: that's now your problem.

[fluturi]

You just don't want to tell the truth, don't you?

Not any more than I already have.
