[Welcome to the city of Asgard. Now that you've woken up and been given your welcome instructions (as per the FAQ), what will you do? There are a good number of other new arrivals being shown to the gates, and for today the plaza that surrounds the castle is open for mingling. You could also head to your Welcome Hall (details here) and meet your Housemates if you'd like. Whatever you decide to do, have fun getting settled into your new home!]

[She gives her head a firm nod. There's really not very much else to say to that.] Right.

[She's really not sure what to say to that. It seems totally impossible Then again, this entire place has seemed utterly impossible. What's one more insane thing? She sighs.]

Right... I'm sorry, Minako-san, but I really don't think I've met you... I'm pretty sure I'd remember. But, I think I know your... brother.

[...Or something?]

My brother? [She tilts her head in confusion. Well, things are officially making less and less sense!]

[takebow]

...Minato-kun? I mean, you look a lot like him, in some ways...

[...Confusion forever.]

[orphean]

Sorry, I definitely don't know him. [Not that she can recall, at least.]

[takebow]

...I don't think I get this at all, then.

[After another moment:]

So, Minako-chan? ...You weren't involved in SEES, were you?

[orphean]

[Well, not expecting such a direct question when she never mentioned it, but she nods.]

I am - or, I was. [What is going on...]

[takebow]

...Okay, that's just not possible.

[And if not for the impossible already happening, her tone of voice would be a lot more suspicious.]

I'd definitely know you if you were...

[orphean]

[She's definitely frowning now. None of this is making a lick of sense.]

I wouldn't know about SEES if it wasn't possible.

[takebow]

[She runs a hand through her hair.]

I know... But, how could I not know about you? Unless someone messed with our minds, and left everything else alone...

[Creepy thought, that.]

[orphean]

I'm not sure either. [Whatever it is, it's extremely unsettling.] Unless it's all tied to this place somehow.

[takebow]

...Probably, but that doesn't clear up anything.

Okay, look. Maybe you can tell me a little bit more about... your SEES?

[orphean]

[A slight headtilt.] I guess I could. I'm not really sure if it would be different, would it?

[AND THUS, MINAKO SUMMED UP SOME CANON BASICS. Up until December 31st.]

[takebow]

....It's pretty much all the same.

[She sighs and rubs her forehead. Sudden headache.]

Look, Minako-chan? I guess I can't really do anything except believe you, right...? So, I believe you and everything.

[She doesn't add that... they'll still have to kind of start over, though.]

[orphean]

I guess it would be hard not to believe with all that information. [A pause.] As unbelievable as it is.

[It goes without saying at least; Minako's not naive enough to assume Yukari would automatically accept all of this. It doesn't make things any easier, in any case. She falls silent, thinking for a couple of minutes.]

[takebow]

[Yukari nods. This silence isn't exactly comfortable, but it's not exactly uncomfortable either. It just seems so improbable, that ... what, she existed in a universe where he was the only person who was different? How does that make sense?

She studies Minako's face, looking for ... familiarity. Something familiar there, to hang onto.]

[orphean]

[She remains quiet for a minute, remaining as casual as she can about things - but she does feel as if she should say something more. Even if there's something strange, there's that instinctual leadership quality that takes hold when things get weird.]

You can ask other questions, if you want.

[takebow]

[She pauses for a half a second more, but ends up accepts that prompting quickly.]

...So, do you... know me pretty well, then?

[orphean]

[Best friends... Maxed out social link, unbreakable bond...]

[But she's not going to get into that, forcing a smile.] Classmates, dorm mates, and on the same team... so pretty well.

[takebow]

But while Yukari can't really tell, still confused about who Minako is and what's going on, all those things would accurately describe Minato, too. A very brief flashing thought wonders if ...

No, come on, Yukari isn't even interested in that! (Though perhaps this thought will surface once more later on when she watches the other girl kiss a snow woman.)

She shakes her head. Minato must be way on her mind. Though, after meeting him back from the dead, that would hardly be a surprise.]

...Sorry I don't recognize you, then. I wish I did.

[orphean]

It's not your fault. [She still keeps the smile; there's no use in causing Yukari any excess concern. Her instincts as a leader just kick in, so it's more about assuring Yukari than worrying about herself.] It must have something to do with this place, right? We can try to make sense of it later.

[takebow]

...Yeah. Yeah, that must be it.

[She looks mildly relieved at that bit of absolution. She probably wasn't that close with Minako anyway, right? Like, it would take a lot to get there... There's a slight suspicion there that this line of thinking might not hold water. But she'd just as rather ignore it, so she does.]

Then, we'll figure it out later. Like everything else around here, I guess.

I think that's really all we can do, for now. [She's still smiling; she can read Yukari well enough to grasp that there's still more than what she's letting on. In any case, Minako will handle this to best of her ability.]

Have you seen anyone else from Iwatodai?

Besides Minato-kun? No... He said Ryoji-kun was here, though.
