Who: All the Whoniverse folks, and their plus ones
What: Eight is a bit Christmas crazy, and is inflicting it on his "family".
When: Day 378
Where: Thor 104 (Who House 2)

A week before, everyone in the Doctors' makeshift "family" is sent a simple message:

Come to Thor 104 in one week's time for a Christmas get-together.
Bring a friend if you like.
No, this is not optional. Don't make me come get you.

When they arrive, they're greeted by a festively decorated house, twinkling lights and all, still covered in snow from the day before. The door is, as usual, unlocked so that everyone can filter in as they please. Once inside, the house is full of the sights, sounds, and scents of a huge family holiday gathering. A fire in the fireplace makes the house warm and cozy, and a decorated tree holds pride of place.

Grab a glass of cider or mulled wine, wander the house, find a conversation to jump into, or get some fresh air in the back garden.

But beware, Eight has been quite liberal with his use of mistletoe. Chances are you'll find yourself under some at some point in the night.

Uh-huh. I guess I didn't really figure how big our....family is, all in one place like this. But...it's nice. Having everyone together.

[It reminds her of Christmas gatherings back home. Strange and nostalgic how normal this seems and yet this is a whole different world from her Earth. But she smiles, standing and reaching for a hug.]

[He chuckles and gives Clem a good squeeze.]

All in one house it seems like we are!

[Her admitting and considering him and the others as something of her pseudo 'family' of sorts here is something in and of itself. Clementine returns the hug with a laugh, still holding her teddy in one hand.]

What about you and your gifts, did you like yours?

I did! It was a lovely picture you gave me, Clementine. And I always can use more music.

I thought you'd like that, since you have the violin. And I like drawing, so it was fun. Look, the bowtie Doctor gave me a picture of us too!

[And here she'll hold it up to show him with a smile. It's evidently a step up from her own but still another souvenir of the two of them.]

Oh...

[He's suddenly struck a bit breathless as he looks at the picture Clem holds up. It's an unexpected wave of emotion that hits him, thinking that Eleven drew that for her. Of himself and Clementine.]

That's...that's quite lovely, Clementine.

You like it? I need to practice a lot to get that good at drawing. But I like it! Can we frame it and hang it up somewhere?

[Because she doesn't want it getting ruined or lost. But it is a cute picture, of him pushing her on a swing.]

Yes, I do like it, but it's more the subject matter than the quality.

[He really is incredibly touched by the gesture.]

Of course. We can hang it up in your room if you like.

I guess. I like it! Are you sure we don't want to hang it up in the living room or something?

[More people can see it that way, right? Clementine mostly has a collection of drawings around her room that she herself did, none like this one by Eleven.]

Oh! Well, yes...yes, of course! I just assumed you'd want it in your room since it's your picture.

But this way everyone can see it! I have lots of drawings in my room anyway. I don't mind. Do you think we can find a frame for it?

I'm sure we'll be able to find something fitting.

What do you think? Color? Light wood? Dark wood?

Light wood? I don't know. It was usually Mom that did that sort of thing back home. We can have a look at some at the shops and decide? Are there shops with frames?

[There seem to be shops for everything. That or in the case where something was unavailable you could talk to someone with the drawing life power to help.]

Oh, I'm sure there is one. Or a woodworker who could make one to order, at the very least.
