Who: All the Whoniverse folks, and their plus ones
What: Eight is a bit Christmas crazy, and is inflicting it on his "family".
When: Day 378
Where: Thor 104 (Who House 2)
Rating: PG

A week before, everyone in the Doctors' makeshift "family" is sent a simple message:

Come to Thor 104 in one week's time for a Christmas get-together.
Bring a friend if you like.
No, this is not optional. Don't make me come get you.

When they arrive, they're greeted by a festively decorated house, twinkling lights and all, still covered in snow from the day before. The door is, as usual, unlocked so that everyone can filter in as they please. Once inside, the house is full of the sights, sounds, and scents of a huge family holiday gathering. A fire in the fireplace makes the house warm and cozy, and a decorated tree holds pride of place.

Grab a glass of cider or mulled wine, wander the house, find a conversation to jump into, or get some fresh air in the back garden.

But beware, Eight has been quite liberal with his use of mistletoe. Chances are you'll find yourself under some at some point in the night.

"I can mix things up very well, I do it all the time! I'm constantly confusing states in America, and I mix up my equations and numbers too. I should think I'm a very good mixer!" The smile on her face was too bright and her tone too light to tell if she was being serious or not.

"Oh, I mix up my dates every day," he grins. "My ship never seems to land where I mean to go. So we're a perfect match for this."

"Perfect! Two mixers all at once. And yes, the whole... linear thing, so mother says every now and then. We'll do it soon, I hope! I've never tried to bake anything with bananas in it."

[fantastix]

"You can make biscuits, muffins, breads, puddings...even a banana bread pudding if you're ambitious," he thought. "Actually, why don't we give that a go? Just a touch of sweet."

[madcuriosity]

"A banana bread pudding? Alright! And we can let the other Doctors and companions try it and give their opinion! Is it a promise, Doctor? You really will make it with me, won't you?"

[fantastix]

"I really do promise," he promised, extending his pinky to seal the deal. That was the ritual for these things, right?

She blinked, not entirely used to the pinkie matter herself, but she's done it often enough in Asgard she knows what to do. She takes her own to wrap around his and shakes their hand like one might shake hands.

"A promise!"
