Who: Elizabeth & YOU!
What: Elizabeth's just walking her puppy pit Jack during a lovely sunny snowy day.
When: Day 384
Where: around the city & then to the park!
Rating: C FOR CUTE PUPPIES
[Elizabeth is enjoying the snow way too much & so is her new companion. the puppy hops from snow pile to snow pile, tongue hanging cutely out of his mouth. she can't help but follow suit & skip along with him. it's the first time in... well, it is the first time that's been able to enjoy the freedom of having fun in snow with her very own pet. she's not stuck in a tower, watching the snow fall, wishing she could one day be a part of the fun down below.
so here & now Elizabeth is taking full advantage of this day to enjoy it as much as she can. regardless of how silly a nineteen year old girl may look skipping through the snow with a puppy, she sure doesn't care. she's having fun & she's not going to let anything stop her from having it.]

It had gotten her in trouble a couple times before after all.
Seated in front of her shop and smoking a clove, she smirked when the two of them came into view. There were some definite snow piles they could play in nearby if they wanted.]
If you two get cold, Pinch is warm.

Oh, hello Samantha! [she looks up at the sign above the succubus's head.] Is this where you work?

When he sees Elizabeth he pauses, watching the dog (maybe he should get Ellie one?) before he steps closer. ]
Your old man ain't gonna come out with a gun if I talk to you, is he?
no subject
No, he's not though I have to apologize for ah, all of that. Booker means well.

[ He nods at the dog, tilting his head a tiny bit. ]

Someone looks like they're having fun.
[Peeta smiles as he calls out.]
I'm just not sure which one of you is enjoying it more.
no subject
Hello, Peeta! [there's a slight embarrassed laugh.] Um, well I think maybe he is. [it's a little hard to say though, even if she isn't the one catching snow in her mouth.]

[Peeta smiles at the pup for a second before he gets an idea.]
Maybe I can help.
[He searches his pockets until he finds the pencil and piece of paper that he had tucked away in one. Peeta draws a circle on it, and a breath or so later, there's a ball resting in the palm of his hand.]
Here. At least my power's good for something.

Come now, good people, be of much cheer,
And let's raise a toast to the coming New Year~
May each day dawn bright and fair,
Free from want and free from care!
May the year be short on sorrow,
And long on joy with each new morrow!

At his feet are bunches of different plants that have been pulled up from their roots: dittany, Chinese foxglove, belladonna, knotgrass, valerian, to name but a few. And next to the bundled plants are a few other jars, filled almost to the brim with insects: squirming, writhing worms in one, earwigs scuttling over the top of each other in another, dragonflies in another.
And nearby is a very large emu, standing at six feet in height, picking berries of a tree with its beak in between preening its downy feathers and making the occasional drumming noise.
Severus is focused too intently on what he's doing to notice the woman strolling in his direction with the dog, but Steven the emu notices. In fact, his interest suddenly pricks up as he watches the puppy and after a few moments he suddenly comes barrelling out from the bushes, heading straight for it.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth watches Snape from afar, head tilting as curious eyes spot the bugs watch into his jar as if they wanted to. Interested, she carefully walks up behind the older gentleman, trying not to disturb him but keeps enough distance that she can both keep a good eye & keep quiet at the same time.

"Oh, bloody--" he mutters under his breath, dashing his eyes back down to the jar, which he tips upright and fumbles the lid on to stop what he's caught from escaping. He quickly shakes off a cockroach running up his arm.
"Steven!" he snaps, looking back to the bird - and it's then that he notices in his peripheral vision the woman standing behind him.
Startled, he stands up with quick sharpness and faces her. He doesn't like being sneaked up on like that. "Yes?" he asks shortly.

Moments stolen when the Capitol was not throwing every possible horror at them.
Freedom, even with the cost of it was something he could not get enough of.
When he sees Elizabeth and Jack he is clearly reminded of this and stops for a few moments just to watch the two of them with a slight smile.]
