After his past experience with asking someone out shopping with him, Peeta'd been a little reluctant, at first, to go to Kurt. It sounded like Kurt knew what he was talking about though. Portia talked about similar things to Peeta (well, more like at him) any time they were together. Based on his resemblance to Portia, Kurt gets a chance.
So now, Peeta's waiting outside the shop in Freya he'd given Kurt directions to, chosen mostly because Peeta'd been able to give accurate directions to it fairly easily. And, well, he's been here before ]
