Getting to know you

Where: The Citadel

[From the outside, the small medieval-style fortress appears unoccupied, but on the inside, the first meeting of Asgard's strike team. For the next two days, members are invited to get to know one another, share what they can do, train, or...you know, team build.

For those who wish experiment with working together, equipment has been set up to form an obstacle course of sorts that takes up half the gym area. (Those who have trained with the Assassins on their capture-the-flag courses may feel the similarities.) Plenty of seating is available for those who just want to mingle or talk strategy.

There are also snacks. Eat them.]

"I suspect you are better than me at them." She smiled, "Even bad relations are better than nearly none."

She was either approached with trepadation or a need for something from others back home, and old habits of seclusion were difficult to break.

"I am better at maps and charts than fighting or leaping across rooftops, I grew up learning to read weather patterns and star maps when I wasn't learning to tie every knot possible and sail between asteroids after the star fishes."

"Sometimes I wonder," she said mildly. "But something is certainly different than nothing. But... maps you say? I've got some older maps from when I first got if you want to look them over one of these days. Donated copies to the Citadel. With some of the attacks, parts are out of date, but if they can help I'd rather they get used."
