Getting to know you

[From the outside, the small medieval-style fortress appears unoccupied, but on the inside, the first meeting of Asgard's strike team. For the next two days, members are invited to get to know one another, share what they can do, train, or...you know, team build.

For those who wish experiment with working together, equipment has been set up to form an obstacle course of sorts that takes up half the gym area. (Those who have trained with the Assassins on their capture-the-flag courses may feel the similarities.) Plenty of seating is available for those who just want to mingle or talk strategy.

There are also snacks. Eat them.]

Oh, brilliantly. No one suspected a thing. See, I was trying to get into this company called Global Chemicals. I suspected they had a hand in the death of a couple of mineworkers, and I needed to get to the bottom of it. Pun a little bit intended.

I actually dressed up as a milkman to get inside in the first place, but I figured I had to change once I got inside. Cleaning lady happened to be easy to fix.

Of course I did! Had loads of practice playing women. Especially older women. They tend to be the best way of coming off as innocent. Worth remembering.

Oh, loads. A famous fictional detective - which I'll admit was just for fun - a commissioner from the Provinces in France, a supply science teacher, a history teacher, and a beloved and hated politician - not that it says much - who looked scarily like me.

Ah, that's just ... a decade or so into your future, then. If I remember right. And if we share the same universe, that is.
