Getting to know you

What: Training/mingling/SNACKS

Where: The Citadel

[From the outside, the small medieval-style fortress appears unoccupied, but on the inside, the first meeting of Asgard's strike team. For the next two days, members are invited to get to know one another, share what they can do, train, or...you know, team build.

For those who wish experiment with working together, equipment has been set up to form an obstacle course of sorts that takes up half the gym area. (Those who have trained with the Assassins on their capture-the-flag courses may feel the similarities.) Plenty of seating is available for those who just want to mingle or talk strategy.

There are also snacks. Eat them.]

Large enough to eat me. [She gave him a narrowed eyed look.] Naga get much larger than anacondas, but the difference isn't significant in terms of what they are.

One did eat me, and that's about as far as I want to discuss this subject. I have reasons they freak me out.

Yeah... it's kind of a good way to find out you don't like something. 'Don't knock it until you've tried it.' Or something dumb like that. Rather not find out I don't like getting swallowed by a snake woman that way, though.

[grunt]

I wasn't going to. I've got my imagination. [ Grimace. ] It's fine.

Thanks, I appreciate it. [A pause] That point's usually a conversation killer, unfortunately, so is there anything different you want to talk about?

I can usually revive conversations pretty well but I get the impression you feel pretty done talking with me for the moment.

[She sighed and nodded.] Yeah, I think we can talk a bit later. Right now, I need to check on a few of the others, have a look around. Give me a call sometime, ok?

[ He tucks his hands in his pockets. ]
