Where: the Hrafn Tea Room (in Odin District, near the library)

The Hrafn Tea Room's design is simple and shows its owner's taste for blues, greens, and grays. It's only here and there that the warmer color of Odin district shows itself in brief glimmers, such as on the aprons of the staff. Most of said staff are natives, but they have rather more color than most. Perhaps it's Yuri's influence, but like him, they are also quite polite, prompt, and dedicated to their jobs. They are welcoming in manner without being overly cheerful.

Located so close to the library, the tea room is very friendly to readers. Off the main seating area is a separate, quieter reading room, with many comfortable chairs for the use of those who wish to read or study in relative peace and silence.

There is a hand-lettered sign in the window that reads "Help Wanted", in neat, elegant script.

The proprietor himself can be found at a table at times, sitting alone more often than not, thoughtfully enjoying one of his own blends and perhaps a book.

[ Awww... Doggy, nooooo. She puffs up her cheeks in dismay, but she guesses she can't really do much about it.

Instead she'll just side-eye Euri. What was that for?! ]

Huh... I don't remember doing anything horrible to you. [ Squinting now. ]

Euri immediately turns away to go and find a table.]

[ She bites back a "maybe you're just overly sensitive". It isn't the right thing to say and it would obviously not help the situation, but anywaaaay. ]

[Euri is still scowling, though. This is a subject she's reluctant to discuss, let alone in a public place with someone who is still basically a stranger. For all she knows this could just be a way for her to insult her some more. It certainly wouldn't be the first time something like this happened, although back home it was always other Witches.

All right, that's okay, too! I'm willing to listen if you ever want to talk though, Euri. [ Just... too friendly, but there's nothing to lose for her and nothing to hide. There's really nothing.

Nevertheless! One should not be discouraged. How will you reach your goal if you're too busy worrying about other things? Tackling it right away is the only way to keep you alive. ] But, really, I'm sorry.

[Euri just scoffs quietly, not really impressed with the apology.]

Don't bother trying to apologize right now. You don't even get it, so you doing that just makes you look suspicious.

[ What are you, 12?! She raises her eyebrows. ] You have a problem with people talking about your appearance and so forth I hurt your feelings.

I apologize for that sole reason and not knowing any better. [ FLATTEST STARE WITH AN AWKWARD SMILE. ]

What?? If you already knew why the fuck did you want to talk about it?!

[Tonight is apparently the night of EURI REACTING IN AMAZINGLY DUMB WAYS.]

I knew what it was, but not exactly why. Do you understand? It's like saying you're scared of falling.

Is it because you were dropped when you were a child when they said they wouldn't? Is it because your friend was being an asshole and pushed you off the tree? Or is it just something natural to you to be scared.

Things like that... it makes it easier to understand another person and avoid things that will hurt them. [ Then again... girls have problems about their appearance most of the time. Hmmm, Yifei thinks she should think more before she says things that just pop into her head. ]
