[Clara's making a delivery to Freya district, her eyes focused in on a piece of paper where she's written down the address her parcel needs to be dropped off at. She's not paying as much attention as she should, so she bumps shoulders with someone as she rounds a corner. This causes her grip on the package to tighten as she jumps back, looking up at the other woman with wide eyes.]

Sorry 'bout that. Reading and walking, always a danger.

[A laugh. She obviously wasn't upset, but that smile of hers is brilliant.]

Maybe you shouldn't read and walk then if it's so dangerous?

A necessary job hazard, I'm afraid. No harm done though, I wager.

[That smile of hers is catchy, and soon Clara is grinning right back up at her. The fact that the hello was delayed pulls a laugh out of her, and Clara nods over toward a building across the street.]

Question, though. Do you happen to know where the chemist is over in this district?

No, I don't. I'm new around here. Just arrived. Sorry.

Not a problem.

[Her lips pop on the t in Not and the p in problem, and she stretches out the word as she looks around. And ah!

Down the street, there's the place she's looking for.]

Tell you what. On account of you being new and impressively happy in spite of it, and because I crashed right into you? Make this delivery with me, and then I'll take you out for a treat. You like sweets and things like it, don't you?

I don't know if I do or not. Never tried it before, but I'd like that if you really don't mind.

[After all, it was a chance for her to learn something here.]

You've never had a sweet before?

[Guuuuuuurl. That gets Clara to take pause and stare. But hey, people from all sorts of places are here. So she shrugs, and just links her arm in Jenny's as she starts walking.]

Right, so, we'll remedy that in a mo. No worries, I know just the thing for a first chocolate. Also, I'm Clara. Clara Oswald.

[A laugh. She liked this girl already.]

No, I've never had a sweet before. I'm sure they're a lot of things that I have to try other then just sweets though.

I'm Jenny! It's a pleasure, Clara! So sweets are that great a thing? [She has no idea until she actually gets a chance to try it.]

Oh, they're better than great. Just wait, you'll see.

[Chuckling, Clara picks up the pace and hurries across the street, dragging Jenny along with her as she makes way into the address for her delivery. A short drop off at the counter later, Clara has money in her pocket and a bounce to her step as she leads the way to another district and toward a candy shop.]

What sort of place are you from, to have so many things you've got to try for the first time?

[Jenny keeps step easily, managing to have the same little bounce as she kept up with Clara with ease.]

It's a world called Messaline. Not too long ago it was just a planet covered in radiation. Everyone lived in these tunnels beneath the ground, and until recently, they were a bit of a warzone.

[Her smile faded quite a bit when she recalled the war part, but it didn't last long.]

Messaline, right. Can't say the Doctor's ever brought me there before, but maybe someday. Once I leave this place.

[She rambles a little, kicking at a stone that's in their path.]

Sounds like the warzone bit's letting up, so maybe it'll be a decent place to stop and see for a while when we get there. Least for now, it sounds like your being here isn't all that bad of a thing. There's plenty to see and do.

[They've reached the sweets store by now, so Clara leads the way inside and heads straight for the chocolate. There's all sorts of things inside though, like petit fours and gumballs and lollipops.]

[They might be at the sweets shop, but as Clara heads for the chocolate, Jenny just stops and stares. Not at the sweets though. She's staring at Clara.]

The Doctor?

[She knew that name. It couldn't be the same one, could it?]

Oh. Mentioned him, didn't I. He's a -

[Time traveling alien doesn't exactly sound all that great, so she shrugs, and just keeps on smiling.]

He's my closest friend. I travel with him, back home. And live with him here. So you'll get to meet him sometime, if you drop by to try one of my souffles. Which I'm inviting you to do right now.

Oh no, it's not....it's just I know someone named the Doctor too. He travels, saves worlds, rescues civilizations, and runs an awful lot.

Sounds like the same Doctor I know, actually. Travels around in a blue box that's bigger on the inside? Tends to take on women as his traveling companions?
