What: Varon is going to teach Nill how to "talk" with her hands.
When: Today, evening after his search for Asuka.
Where: Near Sigyn House by the gardens.

... no, that's not quite right. backtrack.

you have here a very nice day-- cold, but fairly clear. snow, yes, but nothing too disruptive. seems to your usual fare, too. you watch the people pass by, greet the acquaintances you know, do you your daily errands and live the way you usually do. perhaps it's not life as you know it back in your home world, but it's cozy enough. passing by the park, the bank, the carnival, you're probably on your way to your next destination, when--

she's kind of cowering under there, peeking about around her uncertainly. she's holding a map over her head, kind of crumpled around the edges, as though she's been holding it like that for a while, now. she seems cold. she also looks kind of terrified and unsure on several different levels. for one fleeting moment, she seems to be looking in your direction, before a flutter of her wings has her gazing elsewhere in that disoriented fashion of hers.
