[ Kate's on her way back from work when she spots him - he looks a little lost, confused, and... Is he a priest? She was never big on church, and she hasn't really been since her mother died, but she'd feel awful if she just walked by, so she pauses, giving him a tiny smile. ]

Are... you okay? Sir? You look a little lost.

Is it so obvious? [He gives a small smile, knowing just how obvious he looks, gazing around at everything round about him.]

A little. But only because it's that time of the month, and I was doing the exact same thing not too long ago.

[ Her smile warms a little, and she holds out a hand. ] I'm Kate. Anything I can do to help?

That 'time of the month'? It's a regular occurrence them? [Something for him to bear in mind. He could help others like him.

He smiled in return at her, shaking the proffered hand.] Father Mulcahy. Nice to meet you Kate. Um... I'm just trying to find my feet here.

Yeah, it seems like it comes in waves, a couple times a month. You wouldn't think ancient gods would be that punctual, but apparently they are. Maybe there's some magical reason for it...

[ It is a little weird to be talking to a priest about Asgardians and magic. She shakes her head, moving on. ]

Good luck with that. I'm still working on it. But I've mostly learned my way around Thor and Freya, so if you belong to either of those... I also know a few good places to get coffee or tea, if that'd help at all. [ She smiles sheepishly at her slight over-eagerness to help, and shrugs a little. ] My mother would disown me if I didn't offer.

How odd. It's a bit like army intakes... [Given what he's heard, maybe that isn't the best analogy, but it's the only one his somewhat addled brain can come up with right now.]

No, I believe I belong to... Sigyn? [It still didn't all quite make sense to him.] Tea and coffee are always welcome, though. Especially if it's good coffee.

Sigyn... Sigyn's the healers. I am very fond of that house. [ Baseline human heroes learn very quickly to be friendly with the heroes, something she figured out well before coming to Asgard. ]

And trust me, Father, I take coffee much too seriously to inflict the bad stuff on anyone.
