[ OPEN ] OH. What's Occuring?
Who: Your local forensics department, hospital staff, curious bystanders, others.
What: Scenario A: A regular day in the office (during a musical curse) | B: Out on the job.
When: A: Day 84 morning | B: Day 84 afternoon
Where: A: The forensics department office, third floor of the hospital attached to the laboratory. | An alleyway around a manhole in Odin district, close to the wall and the border with Thor.
Rating: PG13 for possible grisly details.
[two scenarios! I will post a scene-setting comment for both of them, please reply below the comment of the scenario you're taking part in, even if you're not replying directly to Conan. Thank you!
By the way, I encourage Forensics people to reply to both parts of the post, thread jack and jump around -- this is to get an idea of how our characters interact in their daily working lives! /o/]

Castle squatted next to him, peering down into the darkness.
"The hand was found here but do we know if the body was dumped here?"
no subject
Conan nodded. Castle raised another good point. "Not yet. We won't until the search develops further but this seems a good place to start--"
There's a shout from within the sewer. Evidently a second discovery has been made.

He glanced back and forth between Conan and the manhole.
"We're not going down there right?"
Because his shoes were Armani.

"You can relax! Detective Beckett's recommended you for helping her with the interviews -- ah, that is if you don't mind helping us out! We're a little short-handed right now ..."
((ooc: just going to pretend the timeline of these threads makes sense!))

He was ok doing interviews, though he did like to look at evidence too. Still if the choices were get in a sewer or interview some people, Castle would definitely pick talking to people.

"No, I think I'm good. I'm sure she can update me if I've missed anything else."
Castle paused before turning away. He couldn't hold back any longer.
"How old are you?"
no subject
Well.
The question isn't entirely unexpected, especially given who he is talking to -- but it'll never be welcome. Conan winces, holding up five fingers on one hand and two on the other. "Seven!" he says with all the little kid pride he can muster. "My birthday's in May, but I don't think that works here."

"How do you... how do you know all this stuff? I didn't know people could be prodigies at being cops."
Castle was more impressed than anything.

no subject
Not really. But his mother had always said that he was a writing prodigy.

Conan scratched his head in an awkward gesture. Though that wasn't really a lie -- He could still learn plenty about what not to do from Mouri. Occhan's hardly done embarrassing himself yet after all.
"... but Castle-san's very kind! We should compare notes some time -- after this case, maybe!"

Castle liked kids and he was honestly used to super mature ones - his daughter was always vey mature for her age.
"I'll uh.. check in with Beckett."
