[ OPEN ][ DAY 128 - 131 ]
Day 131 STOP BEING STUPID.
You're hurt.
[:C]
I'M A MAN IT'S WHAT I DO.
Daphne.
[ He sighs in relief, lowering the light. ]
I'm sorry. It's nothing, really. You ought to be inside.
WHY IS EVERY MAN IN HER LIFE AN IDIOT oh right she married into the winchesters
Let me see.
[She extends a hand, lips pursed.]
I can heal some of it and mend the rest the old fashioned way.
yes w2g there mom sure did pick a winner :|b
Our old fashioned or yours? If there's to be anything like Gaius' salves, I think I'll suffer the wounds.
he's cute what can she say
My old fashioned, so I'm betting it would be a modern medical miracle to you.
Have you ever had stitches?
it's dem baby blues. Arthur knows how that goes. /kanye
Many times, yes. I don't suppose one of your modern miracles has made them obsolete by chance?
castiel's are prettier C:
[Once she's healed what she can, she crosses her arms, looking at him imploringly.]
Have you slept at all since this started?
wow rude w/e w/e
I, erm. I got ... some sleep. The ... first night.
[ So on Day 128, ayep. ]

DAY 128
AHEM.
So Uther found Lancelot and demanded to be taken to Arthur, and Lancelot is at least a good person who does what he's told. And Uther is grateful, he really is, no matter if he really expresses it or not. Especially when he sees Arthur outside his... well, his home, as he calls it, and Uther just breathes a big sigh of relief and immediately marches towards him.
Whatever tension and issues there are between them be damned.]
Arthur! I was so worried.
[So, so worried. Of course he doesn't doubt Arthur's fighting abilities or something, but these things are out of the ordinary and he can't really help it. He always worries when Arthur's fighting, even if only barely.]
no subject
- and all the while, he's been panicking quietly over what to do in the case of the King. Mithian's words haven't left him by any means, and the sudden furor hasn't helped anything but to make it all worse. So when he sees Uther, there isn't relief but rather an easing of the tension in his chest. ]
Father. Thank God.
[ He holds his hand out to grip Uther's forearm, but should he take it, Arthur will pull him into a (somewhat desperate) hug. Shut up, okay? ]
no subject
At least, right now they're not.
And they don't do hugs, not really, but he doesn't resist - and not only because he doesn't really find room to through the slight surprise - because he almost had half a mind to do so anyway. He's returning it, even, and definitely not saying a thing it's ok.]
no subject
I'm glad to see you're well.
[ And then he'll release Uther's forearm to look about the area. ]
We ought to go inside, it's not safe out here.
no subject
Of course.
[It hits him that he's never actually been inside Arthur's new home. That situation hasn't really arisen on his own and he... never asked, before everything got complicated.
He is, perhaps, a little curious, even with the circumstances.]
no subject
Those that have fallen victim to this new illness do not appear particularly coherent under its effects, so we've yet to have need for barricading the doors and windows.
[ He gives a basic rundown, the state of things as he would in any Council meeting, as he grabs two glasses of water for them. ]
We're preparing for the worst, though. The living room should become an infirmary before long.
no subject
He nods while he listens to Arthur, even as he walks around to have a closer look.]
Who will be in charge of taking care of the wounded?
no subject
[ He comes back from the kitchen to offer a glass to Uther. ]
Merlin and Castiel will be moving with us to heal on the field when we can't make it to safe ground quickly enough.
[ There is nothing resigned or dodgy about the way Arthur says this, no hint or infliction to show any sort of hesitance toward the idea. As plain and simple as any other strategy: we will have magic with us in this fight. ]

[Day 130 (I think) Open to debate!]
If you look like you know where you're going and you have a plan, people are less likely to stop you.
Which is why this seven-year-old is just casually marching past you with a lantern and a backpack, Arthur (and/or Merlin). Nothing to see here, nope.]
8| dammit, Conan!
Correct me if I'm wrong, Conan, but I'm fairly certain I told you to go home. And to stay there.
no subject
Conan tugs at his backpack, continuing trying to walk.]
Ah ... that was yesterday, Arthur-san ...

And seeing as the threat still stands today, so too do my instructions. It's dangerous out here, you know that.
no subject
I've taken precautions, you know! And I've got somewhere important to be.
no subject
Go on, then. Let's have it. What could possibly be so important as to warrant being out in the middle of all this?
