END OF ARC 1: DAY 171-172 BATTLE

[At dawn of Day 171, the battle begins again. It's the same as before, only both sides' troops are better organized. The first day will go badly: losses will be heavy, as the forces of Asgard as their allies seem overwhelmed by the numbers and ferocity of their opponents. The more battle-ready gods themselves can be seen openly on the battlefield today (Thor, Heimdall, Baldr, & Freya as melee. Loki, Sigyn, & Hel as mostly-unseen magical support. Freyr is still on a boat.). At night the battle pauses for a few brief hours, only long enough to bring in the wounded and the dead.

However, on Day 172, things begin to look up again. Another wave of reinforcements arrives, this time a large army of mostly human but partly elven forces, along with a few leaders who can quickly be pointed out as gods. This new army helps turn the tide, and this day goes well for the "good" side (though only by a slim margin).

But it still isn't over. In fact, it seems like it could draw out for a long time, until every bit of Asgard's side is destroyed.]

[just rests until Roxas gets back, making sure ??? is propped up in a way that is hopefully...at least a little comfortable (even if he is unconscious). He's pretty sure he can't heal ??? all the way with just his capabilities, but hopefully he'll be able to repair some damage and get him back on track to help heal himself.]

[faints]

[ he won't need to wait too long! About seven minutes or so given he has to go in and out of the arena and all, but he'll have three cups with him just in case, worry still etched all over his face when he returns ]

Is he awake yet...?

[glances up when Roxas returns, shaking his head as he accepts a cup. He drains it before speaking, not really realizing until that moment just how thirsty he actually was.]

No...don't think he's gonna for a while.

[faints]

Access..... [ He doesn't touch his own and instead just watches his dataself worried, crouching at his side ]

[that makes him lift an eyebrow. They haven't...really talked much about ???. There hasn't really been time since he found out. Well, no - there has, but he's been wanting to puzzle a few things out on his own, and Roxas hadn't really offered up much information yet (though he probably would have, had Lea asked). Still...]

..."Access?"

[faints]

...Yeah. [ He knows Lea isn't blind; he knows the redhead can see well enough under the hood to discern who's beneath it. Roxas still doesn't have any inkling that Lea actually really knows, so he's guarded about it the way ??? had wanted him to be. ]

He told me to pick a nickname for him. So...I picked that.

How did you come up with that?

[He's having a difficult time figuring out where Roxas would have pulled that as a name...aside from the fact that ??? has access to all of his memories.]

[faints]

I'm not...really sure. It was a long time ago, when we first met. I didn't know who he was but he kept looking out for me all the time. When he asked me to pick a name it just...felt like maybe that one was good. [ It'd been a result of the nostalgic feeling he got when ??? had looked after him constantly. In a way it'd reminded him of Axel...even if at the time he had no idea who that was. ]

[ah - that clicks a little into place. Access is pretty close to Axel, if he thinks about it. Lea just nods, gestures for Roxas to sit down. It won't do any good for him to topple over now.]

Drink up.

[faints]

Oh. Um....okay. [ He'll take a seat in front of Access to have his drink though because he's still worried. Those cracks just do not look good, and neither do the gaping holes in his shoulders. ]

...Can you fix him?

[tenacityformed]

[shakes his head, glancing back toward ???'s unconscious form.]

Not completely. I can help him out a little, but I won't be able to heal him all the way.

[faints]

Even if I let you give him some of my energy...?

[tenacityformed]

Yeah...it'd just take a long time since I can only do so much at once.

[faints]

Oh right... Your power hasn't grown yet has it?

[tenacityformed]

Nope, haven't had the chance to try it much.

[faints]

Um...that means then, to get it you...have to... [ Mwah♥ That one ]

[tenacityformed]

Yeah. [pauses] You okay with that? Can just use your hand.

[faints]

--You can?? I thought it had to be on the lips!

[tenacityformed]

[actually flusters a little for a moment, but shakes his head.] Nah, I can only transfer through kissing, but I can kiss the person anywhere. Doesn't have to be the lips.

[faints]

Oh.... [ FFFFF and here he was trying to work himself up to that for Access' sake--this is much, much easier. ]

Then yeah--hand is okay.

[tenacityformed]

Okay. Ready whenever you are.

[what Roxas you're acting like it's weird to kiss your best friend.]

[faints]

[ HE'S ONLY HAD ONE KISS OK and it was his ex gf )'8 Also, he feels a bit silly holding out his hand to Lea--this is the sort of thing princesses did for their princes in storybooks.

Wow that doesn't help make this not weird. ]

...Okay.

[Gosh you should tell your BFF these things sometime you know, he'd be curious.

Just stop thinking about it, Roxas.

Takes his hand, holding it with one of his own and leans forward just slightly to press his lips more to the back of Roxas' fingers than his palm. A familiar tingling sensation starts at his lips and spreads through him as he concentrates on absorbing some of Roxas' remaining energy.]

[faints]

[ If Roxas had to describe the sensation, it'd be somewhat like the way your belly flops right before an exam or when you fall from a high enough height--it's kind of tingly, a little ticklish, and makes you feel like your legs are a little weak.

In Roxas' case the latter is probably literal as he blinks a few times and shivers as goosebumps roll down his spine. Wow this...actually makes a pretty noticeable difference. ]

W-whoa...

[hasn't actually transferred from anyone yet, just from himself to someone else. But he knows that it can still knock you off your feet if you're not ready for it. He pauses, lifting his head to give Roxas a critical look. He's exhausted, that's plain enough. He might be able to take some energy from him and give it to ???, but with all of what they've already been through today, he's not going to do it more than just this once.]

You gonna make it?
