[OPEN] EVENT LOG: BAD MOON RISING - WEEK TWO
Who: EVERYONE!
What: Bad Moon Rising: Week Two
When: Days 323-326 ( September 8-15 )
Where: All across the city.
Rating: PG-13. Anything that might go higher than that should be taken to a private log, please!
[ You've been on edge. Inexplicably, so far as you can tell in the moments after those short bouts of quick, sharp anger you've experienced in the past few days - but maybe it's simply stress from the recent attacks on the city. Perhaps some rest will help, or a nice day at Folkvang to decompress and gather yourself.
Whatever you try, though, the odd feeling of being off stubbornly lingers on. Anger is joined by discomfort, the shadows in the corners of the room just a little bit darker than usual and did you see something dart down that alley way? The hallucinations creep into every day activities, paranoia and snappishness leading to insomnia and sleep deprivation. Try as you may to ignore it, the symptoms only seem to escalate over time. Maybe it's stress. Maybe it's something else entirely.
But it's stubbornly lingering on. Perhaps some rest will help ... ]
[ OOC NOTES: This is the mingle log for Week 2 of the Bad Moon Rising event! Characters will start experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations alongside vivid violent thoughts at strange, innocuous moments. Some characters may start sleep walking and heading towards the Gate of Fog; none will make it, however, so lock your doors and keep an eye on your friends. Please put [OPEN/CLOSED] along with the time/location in your comment titles. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns! ]

Samantha Grey | OC (Wiiiide open)
[What was better for looking extremely creepy while staring at the palace constantly, unmoving, a twisted and insane smirk on their face than a demon? Her tail lashed back and forth animatedly as she watched, the look on her face like somebody who'd seen something or knew a joke that others did not.]

Signora? There is nothing?
no subject
Nope, she wasn't looking at anything new... and yet it all seemed so grotesquely funny.]

[The lack of response was unsettling. Well that and the wild laughter. It was almost like there was a grand joke being played but what was the punchline? ]
What are you doing out here?

And hten it was gone, and she was sneering there, eyes narrowed and staring at the walls. The word 'soon' was on her lips in Latin over and over again.]
no subject
What would be soon?
[Soon - the manic laughter might end? He hoped for that. It was very unnerving to see people acting bizarre like this.]
no subject
She seemed capable of little else...]
no subject
I am going to look around the castle.
[She might not be able to respond, maybe she could not even understand what had been said, but he spoke anyway. He took off in a direction, paused, looked back at her and with total sincerity added...]
Do not move.
[Not that she likely could, but since the castle was such a focus he wanted to have a look around.]

He was very grim faced when he returned. Deeply troubled by what he had seen the situation was only made worse by the fact he did not know what he could do about it. Making them as comfortable as possible until they were freed from what ever had a hold on them seemed to be the only thing to do. So if she needed something like a robe to protect her from the chill as Desmond had that was what he would focus his attention on.]

Fuck, wwitch. At least be a little entertainin' if you're goin' to make me sit out here all day.
I should be sleepin'!

[The third push made her break into an almost sick, warped sort of laughter, very reminiscent of 'evil Sam.' She was practically cackling for a minute flat, the sound of it echoing through the streets of the district while she licked at her lips. Her lips seemed to form words, almost, but nothing intelligible.]
no subject
Wwhat the fuck. Seriously, Sam, this is fucked up.
[He sighs, leaning in slightly to try and decipher the mutterings.]
no subject
And worse, as he came in that close, she licked her lips again and giggled in a particularly high pitch as her eyes widened and her claws extended, then retracted.]

Taking a step back, Eridan adjusts his cape, attempting to act nonchalant and not as terrified as he really was. What if she was stuck like this forever? Or what if it got worse?
He wasn't prepared to deal with either situation. And it didn't sit well with him, having his kismesis vulnerable like this. He was the only one allowed to hurt her.]
...Fine. I guess wwe're doin' this then. But you fuckin' owwe me wwhen you're done playin' leaky think pan.

In the distance, there was a warm glow as the sun was starting to set. It was getting late, and she'd been here a while. Attempts to get her away had always resulted in just this.]
no subject
You'd better get done wwith this insanity routine soon, harpy. I'm runnin' out a' my limited patience.
Seriously... I love that I have this icon for scenes like this.
thunk.
Her body simply collapses into a heap with a single shiver, her eyes rolled back to the back of her head while she groans in exhaustion.]
no subject
C'mon, harpy, wwake up.
[He shook her shoulders, almost gently.]
no subject
I... will... shove... the... dragon... up... her... ass.
no subject
Wwhat the fuck is wwrong wwith you noww.
[Eridan wasn't sure whether to laugh or help her. So he laughed for a few minutes before leaning down grab her shoulders to help Sam sit up.]
