Duh! Of course it is! Reshiram's one of the most loyal Pokemon I know. He wouldn't hurt a fly unless I asked him to.

[ to demonstrate even futher, she leans into it's fluffy front feathers and gives it a few pats. in response, the dragon leans down and playfully nudges her hat. ] See? No need to worry.

Pokemon? Isn't that a dragon though?

[but wow, a dragon under this girl's control, what kind of power that would give under someone bad (yeah obviously this girl can't be bad, she just fed it ice cream!!)

he does seem less tense, but still very wary because. well. it's obvious why c'mon. so he keeps a good distance.]

Yes and no! It's a Dragon-type Pokemon. There's a difference!

Pokemon are creatures from my world - sort of like animals in yours, except Pokemon are basically better in every way.

[ well that was subtle. ]

How so?

[he can understand the 'dragon-type' per say. it's really close with his larp lingo. you could find fire-type or ice-type swords when witches and wizards powered them with their magic. it was an interesting concept to hear these 'animals' can be the same.

but otherwise, how were they better? yeah you don't see dragons anywhere but.. wouldn't it still just be a dragon? as you know and read about them? breathes fire and such.]

Because Pokemon can control elements! There are all sorts of type matchups, and Pokemon can use them in tons of unique attacks. Reshiram here is a Dragon and Fire-type.

I actually can kinda understand what you're getting at. Dragons are always known to have some kind of fire use, at least what you hear about them in stories.

Didn't think Dragon would be its' own type though.

For you, maybe. But for Pokemon, dragons aren't limited to just breathing fire! My boyfriend has one that has total control over electricity - Reshiram's twin!

[ Reshiram gives a nod. Zekrom is totally legit, man. ]

Here? You mean, there's another dragon - like that - here?

Oh yeah, we've got tons of dragons! There's Reshiram, Zekrom, Brendan's Rayquaza, Lyra's Lugia, Wally's Altaria...

[ hang on a second, she's trying to count all of them on her fingers. ] ...I might be missing one. I sort of lost track after awhile.

[larp]

That's way too many dragons!

[which is what he manages to squeak out with another slight squirm away from Reshiram's white form.]

There's no such thing! [ >:T!!!! ] You can never have enough dragons, especially when they're Pokemon!

Look, there's nothing to be afraid of. None of these dragons eat people or destroy villages or whatever you guys think dragons do.

What do they do then?

[no really, he's curious.]

Well usually we train and battle with them, but their powers were taken away here... so they're mostly for companionship! Not that that's bad, of course.

[ and that's reinforced with her giving Reshiram a hug. d'aaaaw. ]

[larp]

[yes daw how cute he's getting diabetes here. actually no he's kinda concerned it is suddenly gonna turn on her and try to eat her...]

You fight with them? [how is that in any way fun, ENLIGHTEN HIM. no he's considering motorcity and wow imagine kane having fierce dragons like this at his whim. he'd wipe out motorcity no problem..!]

If you wanna put it that bluntly, yeah. [ hoo boy. here we go. ]

In my world, Pokemon and humans work together in contests of strategy called battles! A lot of Pokemon aren't as big as Reshiram, though, so it's on a much smaller scale.

[larp]

Well, if they aren't going to go around attacking people.. G-Guess it's better than mutated rats.

[seriously. mutated rats are freaky and scary. "Reshiram" here is.. actually pretty amazing, if you look past the real-life dragon.]

[adventurous]

There's literally 0% chance of that happening. Everyone here who owns a Pokemon are really responsible! Besides, they can't even use their powers. [ WHICH STILL SUCKS, BY THE WAY. ]

[no powers, responsible owners, what's there to worry? everything. but that's just chuck being chuck, however he's taken more by her question.]

Say hi-? [he glances back to the dragon, shifting on his feet while he starts to rub at an arm subconsciously. CLEARS THROAT... he's doing his best not to run away, really. it's honestly a surprise he hasn't fled since the very beginning. (he'd say it's because he was frozen in fear.)

so he eventually gathers the courage and...] H-Hello.

Yeah! Go on, Reshiram doesn't bite.

[ she steps aside for him to get a full view of the dragon, and at his greeting Reshiram bows its head to get a closer look at this human boy. hello Chuck, you now have dragon snout approaching. ]

Give it a pet if you want!
