How can that many of you be here though? All in the same place?

[He rubs the back of his head.]

Good question. That's a very good question. It shouldn't be possible but somehow we're all here mostly. I think there are certain rules of reality that don't apply to this place--or so I'm told.

Because of the gods here? Or for a different reason? Or is it just the planet?

All of the above? I'm still working out a lot about this place. I got here a bit recently myself.

How recently?

[He thinks for a bit.]

Close to a month I reckon. Maybe less?

You know, by my standards, that's a long time.

[Her voice is pretty light-hearted about it. It hasn't been that long since she last saw you in her mind, Doctor.]

Wellllll, you have to remember I do travel in time. One can really get lost or caught up out there.

[He doesn't want to tell her that a lot has happened since he last saw her, and not all of it was good.]

For someone that never stops, you're doing an awful lot of standing around right now, aren't you? Doesn't this count as an adventure? A new world? New things to see? Well you've been here longer. I've barely gotten the chance to even look around yet. You going to show me around, dad?

Welllll, I may have been here longer, but it doesn't mean I've seen everything there is to see. And I was exploring before I ran into you. I mean, hello! Last time I saw you...you know.

[There is still a lot Ten hasn't figured out yet.]

I don't know, I haven't seen much yet, so let's just pick one and go.

[She hadn't really planned a specific direction.]

[Ten laughs.]

Ohhhhhh, chip off the old block. Brilliant! You pick the direction since you've just arrived.

Alright!

[In that case, she spins around, looking in every direction, and then she points east of them]

Let's go this way then!

Alright then.

[He offers her his arm.]

Father and daughter out for a stroll. Let's go.

[She takes his arm with a grin and starts heading in a direction, but she does have questions.]

How long have you been here?

[He may as well be honest about what he knows.]

Wellllll, like I said, about a month I think. Though if everyone here's to be believed, which I doubt, this isn't my first go in Asgard.

You mean you were here before? But it sounds as if you don't even remember that you were.

Exactly. I don't. Not a single thing, which is rather disconcerting.

Does that mean someone was tampering with your head?

It could, and I really don't like it when that happens. It also means I have no idea what I did when I was here before so I don't know what to expect if I meet someone I've met here before. Am I making any sense?

Yeah, I think so.
