Alright, so what do you do here?

[Setting her tea down, she goes to grab another cookie from him then begins to wander around to look at...everything. She's naturally curious and has an insane need to know what everything does. Especially since so much of it is actually working compared to the falling apart world she hails from.]

I organise the news, weather and music, record it in one of the studios here and broadcast it to the radios. There's one in all the Welcome Halls and they're also available privately from the shops.

I have someone recording now, though we can't interrupt them, there's a window where you can see, if you like?

[Her eyes go huge as she spins around to look at him.]

I can watch them? Seriously?

Of course. [He smiles.] The room is soundproofed.

Okay. At first it was really weird that you were picking up some random kid for tea but now you're kind of fucking awesome.

[She grins.]

[He smiles back. Not the first time he's been called creepy.

He gestures the direction.] This way.

[Following after him, she still looks at everything they pass. This place is seriously really cool.]

[He takes them to the window and Ril (with mun permission) is playing on her guitar into the speaker.]

[She goes right to the window and presses her hands to it as she stares. Holy shit, it's all real. She's only seen this stuff in pictures and now...]

You seriously do radio programs like they used to do years ago. Fuck, it's hard just finding Walkman's where I'm from.

[At first, she doesn't respond to that part. But then it dawns on her and she looks back at him. Wait...]

[Looking back at the person doing music, she really thinks about it. The thing is, she does want to do something with this. It's like getting to walk into some sort of weird but really cool dream.

On the other hand, what the hell is someone like her supposed to offer to radio? She's a fucking dead delinquent rebel from a world torn apart by some kind of zombie-like fungus.]

What kind of job?

Up to you. A chatshow, singing, a reading of your favourite book, DJing, if you like. Anything that can be broadcast through audio.

I don't have any books but I can do stories. Oh and is DJing that thing with music?

We have a library or you could tell us about your world, your experiences. And DJing is choosing already recorded songs to play and broadcasting the selection.

[Advantages of growing up with not much to do. You learn to make up things to pass the time.]

Um...whenever I guess. Does this mean you'll pay me to tell stories to people? Like seriously?

Yes, it does. I get a decent revenue from advertising, so I'm able to pay quite well.
