The bracelet? [ he thinks for a moment ] Well, you can't take it off, or you will go gray. [ it's not exactly "cool" ]

I take it going gray is a bad thing?

If you stay in your Welcome Hall, there is no problem taking off the bracelet. But without it, you will lose your colors, your emotions and you will stop recognizing yourself and it's hard to tell you apart from the natives that are grey.

So it's better not to take it off ever.

Sorry - I'm going off what I can remember from my Thor although I have a feeling he's different from the Thor that's here... Although my Thor might actually be here as well... it's confusing.
