It's... really really complicated and confusing. Honestly, your world sounds like a lot more fun. There isn't actually a whole lot left of mine.

[ As he continues washing his face, though, Jade is digging through that first aid kit still, pulling out what looks like some small tubes of cream, bandages. She isn't sure if he'll need stitches or what yet, but she can at least patch him up as much as she can before sending him on to the hospital or to the healers in Sigyn's house. ]

And - ehehe, no one can, not at first. But you'll get there. I punched one of the giants with a tree, once. Even Draco thought it was awesome. [ She's beaming quietly, ears perked, before she moves to clear the table off and lay out the ointments and gauze. ]

I... suppose. [His world hasn't been very much fun for him lately, but being there at all is certainly preferable to being... gone.] I'm sorry, about yours.

[Which seems like quite an inadequate thing to say, but he doesn't know what else there is and--

Right, she had mentioned Draco. He doesn't manage to completely hide the wince at the name.]

It would be hard not to, I imagine. [Because tree punching does sound quite cool, no matter which way he tries to slice it.]

Ehehe. I've had a while to come to terms with things. [ But it's impossible to miss that wince, and her expression folds into something thoughtfully curious as she beckons him over to the table, motioning for him to take a seat in front of her. ]

He's a lot nicer here. Just- by the way. I mean, I'm sure you'll figure that out on your own! But it's probably good to, um. Know beforehand. Where do the cuts hurt the worst?

Well-- [Neville trundles over to the seat, parking in it obediently. It seems strange to imagine Draco being nice, especially to the sort of person who would go out of her way to help a guy wandering around on the street, confused. He always thought Draco only gave fellow Slytherin-types the time of day.] Alright, I suppose.

[He makes an effort to look like he's buying it, but he's always been rather crap at lying.

In any case, he shifts on his seat so he can show one shoulder where his uniform has been ripped. He'd dodged a particularly nasty spell (which he's still very glad for), but got hit with the exploding wall instead.] This, I suppose. And this- [He indicates the big one on the side of his head.]

[ She nods at that, moving to stand before him, carefully pushing his sleeve out of the way to try to get at the cut with a cold, white salve. Her eyebrows knit in concentration as she begins applying it, every movement cautious. ]

This should numb it a little bit, too, and also disinfect, I think? A healer will be able to help you way more than this, but I didn't want to just let you keep wandering around out there like that. [ And then- ] How did this even happen? Can I ask?
