It can be any welcome hall, major attraction, or just out an about in any district. For newbies making a top-level thread, you may include your character's name/canon/house in your subject line if you'd like, to make housemates easy to find! :) If a God is needed or wanted, please ping the mods and depending on availability we might be able to throw them in where asked.

Also, keep an eye on the event schedule for February! If you're ICly introing during an event, make sure you take that into account. Thank you!

Have fun!]

Er, in a way it is.

[It has to do with timelines, so he thinks that works - although he does wind up pursing his lips as he tries to figure out how to put it.]

For me, it wasn't long ago at all. When I first was brought here, a few months ago, I'd just left him and Zoe. But when I ran into him, he said it'd been centuries since he'd seen me last. And he'd changed a bit but...well, never mind that. The important thing is he was hundreds of years older than I'd remembered him being, and he'd done a lot of things since. Does that make more sense?

I think so. [She'd drawn out the last word. She was pretty sure she got it, but not entirely. Why did time have to be so confusing?]

Aye, well, you're doing better than I did when I first came here if it does.

[He'd been very confused - and not at all afraid to admit it now.]

Ye get used to it, though, like ye do a lot of things around here. Look, I know it might be a wee bit odd with someone recognizing ye when ye don't know them, but if ye need someone to help ye get settled here I'd not mind doing so. At least until you're able to track down your dad, anyway. What do ye say?

Well, I hardly see the point in allowing myself to get too upset about it.

[She pauses at the offer as if she has to think about it for a moment. She was willing to go on a little faith here, and so she grinned.]

Yeah, alright. Why not? Why don't you start by showing me around.

[It doesn't take him long to return that grin with one of his own. If there's anything he knows in Asgard, it's where everything is. There's only so much sitting around he can do before getting bored, and it's led to him poking around everywhere.]

Now that I can do. Once ye let me know what sounds like a good place to start, anyway. There's...let's see, there's your welcome hall, the park, the theater, the library, the arena, a spooky carnival of sorts, among other things. And then ye have the wee shops and restaurants and a tavern or two, although a few of those places they use other names for.

Anything sound good out of that?

Yeah, everything. [She hadn't seen any of it before.]

Since you seem to know me despite my lack of knowing you, how about you pick the place you believe I'd be most interested in seeing first.

[There's actually a couple of places he could think of that she'd enjoy, and for a moment he needs to think about what might be the best one. As he does so, he winds up bringing up a hand to his mouth, pressing a finger to his lips rather thoughtfully. Then he lifts his head again and nods once, firmly.]

Alright, then. This way.

[It'll take a bit to get to Odin from here, but he knows a few shortcuts, at least. So it's not too long before they're standing outside the entrance of the Great Library, and he reaches out to open the door for her.]

This is that library I mentioned. Your dad likes to come here a lot, so ye might find it interesting, too.
