Welcome to Lux —

It's been under construction for about a month, and anyone in the Baldr district (or who just liked to wander) surely would have noticed the bar's construction. It was only a few days ago that the sign was finally put up—Lux.

Maybe you saw the owner's post on the network and decided to come see. Or maybe you were just walking past and was curious about the crowd of people who had gathered. Regardless, you'll be welcomed into a ritzy bar and lounge. There are some locals mingling about, and jazz is drifting through the air, since the owner is currently playing.

Should you decide to stay, you'll find that the drinks and food are very generously half price for grand opening. Or, if that's not to your taste, then surely the music and crowd will make up for it.

I've never carried a person before though.

I can think of a few things you should do then. [That should have been a lot smoother and a lot less awkward, but he's kind of just not thinking. He surveys her for a moment before moving without warning and scooping her up properly, arms under her knees and other arm around her back. Jeezes, okay, wait, kind of wobbl--okay no, no we're fine.]

Oh. [ That was lot neater than she'd expected it to be! She turns slowly to look up at him, (insulting) surprise on her face. ] You... are very good at that. Much much stronger than you look.

What's that supposed to mean? [He's trying to look offended, but that's not really working out for him.]

Uh. There's reaaaally only one way to interpret "you're stronger than you look"...

I dunno. [ Slurred and with a yawn as she turns into his chest, closing her eyes. ] I live at the welcome place. In Freyr. It's really fun. I want to like it. But. [ yawn ] It makes me twitchy too because there are so many people. It's gross, all...suffocating-like. Plus there is no space...

Then perhaps you ought to move out someday. [Heading that way then, only swaying slightly.] I would if I were you.

...But no. No, moving out? That would be giving up. No way.

Is it giving up, or is it asserting your independence? I think it'd be the latter, personally. Aren't you the one who moved out of your tower?
