Welcome to Lux —

It's been under construction for about a month, and anyone in the Baldr district (or who just liked to wander) surely would have noticed the bar's construction. It was only a few days ago that the sign was finally put up—Lux.

Maybe you saw the owner's post on the network and decided to come see. Or maybe you were just walking past and was curious about the crowd of people who had gathered. Regardless, you'll be welcomed into a ritzy bar and lounge. There are some locals mingling about, and jazz is drifting through the air, since the owner is currently playing.

Should you decide to stay, you'll find that the drinks and food are very generously half price for grand opening. Or, if that's not to your taste, then surely the music and crowd will make up for it.

Welcome to Lux, the bar owned by the Devil himself.

Not about him. I'll talk about everything but him. [But he reaches forward to swipe that glass again. Drinking does sound like a good idea.]

Wow. [ she stares ] You... must really hate him huh.

[wasthemaster]

...you could say that Potter and I have a long history together. The feeling's rather mutual. [Sort of. It's quite complicated, especially given what happened right before he came to Asgard. Oh well...drinking and kind of just glaring into space. Stupid Potter. Even when he's not here he causes problems.]

[glistens]

Well we don't have to talk about Potter then if you don't want to. It's a little hot in here anyway. [ How they're related is beyond her but she smiles a bit dreamily and allows herself to fall to the side against his arm. ] But I wish my life were that interesting... That way I could impress you with stories.

[wasthemaster]

[How about if that arm casually moves to go around her shoulder so she's just plain against his side?] You can impress me with more stories about tying men with your hair and life in the tower. That is more interesting to me than anything about Saint Potter.

[corona]

[ Well - she's going to pause for a second there but it doesn't last long because she's drunk and she doesn't give a shit. ] Saint Potter is a very catchy name. But... [ Cuddling is nice. She likes cuddling. Have some cuddling. ] I've only ever tied up one man before.

...Don't - Don't tell anyone though okay? No one would take me seriously if they knew that. I have lots of experience threatening people but - I've only followed through once. I don't have very much experience doing anything honestly.

[wasthemaster]

[Hey you know what, cuddling is still a-okay as long as no one else knows about it.] Catchy name for a bloody idiot.

Rapunzel. Honestly. Who would I tell? [Though there's a slight smirk.] That's why you've got to show them. You can tell all you want, but it's really all about the show if you want to be taken seriously.

[glistens]

Oh. [ She laughs (a little too loudly) and waves her hand. ] Believe me. I will. I will show everyone. Oh but - when? I can't think of a stitchation - situation, I mean. Um. I can't think of one where I'd need to...

[wasthemaster]

Who the hell says you need a situation? [He just gives her another smirk of some sorts, gears already turning in his hand and he's using a hand to gesticulate in the air as he talks.] One of the greatest things in life is putting on a show for absolutely no reason at all. [Being buzzed, apparently, is bringing out more of Draco's old personality pre-the life of a Death Eater.] What could be better than commanding the attention of everyone around you and proving that you're better than they are?

[glistens]

[ Likewise, she scowls with a little more ire than normal. ]

If you were really better than everyone you wouldn't have to prove anything... Right? I don't know, Draco, you're the people expert I'm just following your lead here.

[wasthemaster]

As you should be. At least you've acknowledged my expertise. Anyway, why wouldn't you want to prove it? That's the real question.

[glistens]

Because—

What? This is confusing me. [ She giggles, falling over slightly and adding conspiratorially: ] This is not a safe argument. We could go in circles all night about this.

[wasthemaster]

Perhaps that's all just a part of my master plan and you'll just never know it. Though I'm sure you have other matters to attend to eventually this evening.

[glistens]

You cuh-learly overestimate me. Wow, that sounded weird when I said it. I'm not that important. I just go home after I'm done exploring for the day really.

[wasthemaster]

...but then what? I highly doubt you're the type to just sit on your hands once you're home.

[corona]

Of course not! But it's not like those things are more important than this. This feels... Mm, this feels good. When I go home, I'll just miss Pascal and think about my lanterns. I don't think I'll want to play with the toaster today.

[wasthemaster]

...what the hell is a toaster? [But he immediately brushes it off, focusing on the other parts instead.] If that's the case, don't go home. Go somewhere else.

[glistens]

Hey if you want me to leave that bad then you can pay for the carriage. [ The first three words are slurred, but she's getting the annoyance across fine. ]

[wasthemaster]

Hm? [He glances at her, though it takes a few moments to register just what she's saying.] Wasn't aware you were a princess suddenly. Besides, maybe I don't want you to leave just yet.

[glistens]

Then - Mnrph. Why do you keep giving me reasons to leave? Are all men this weird?

[wasthemaster]

Probably. [Draco's just the king of weird, that's all.] I'm not stopping you if you want to leave, I'm just not actively encouraging it.

[glistens]

[ line. face. ]

...Find me a carriage when I do leave and we'll call it even. [ She's new okay she can't even remember the way back. ]

[wasthemaster]

Sure. [A beat.] You've never been in a carriage before, have you?

Of course not! Oh - oh, wait, yes. My first day. I almost threw up!

[wasthemaster]
