[In the middle of the night (or rather the early, early morning), there's a sound somewhat like falling hail. It only lasts a couple of seconds, and is followed by the howl of a single big gust of wind that seems to get through the cracks of windows and doors no matter how well closed or locked they were.

It seems the rain was a shower of candy hearts, and they'll be cropping up all over the place all day!

What could this possibly mean?]

[Normal days are for people who don't live in Asgard. And, you know, aren't blond (former?) Nobodies. So if he's still picking up candy around the time she shows up, that's just one more reason for her to stop when she sees him, eyes widening slightly.]

[ fff ;; He didn't know, mama--but probably but now (since it's later) he'll be mostly trying to push them out of the way as he goes. THESE THINGS ARE TROUBLESOME ]

[She is at least slightly relieved to see he isn't getting tangled up with any unfortunate candy crushing incidents (for the time being), but--]

What are you doing out here?

[faints]

Trying to get rid of some of that candy--or at least clear a walkway. It's everywhere!

That's the reason you're outside? [Or is it a part of something else--]

[faints]

Well no originally I was gonna go to work but I can't get anything done with these things out here--I'm gonna at least clear a path.

[lethechained]

Oh...! I'm sorry. I hope your boss doesn't mind.

[... Well, then,] That's very thoughtful of you, Roxas. [Mama is so very proud. C:] Would you like some help?

[faints]

You wouldn't mind? I mean sure it'd be nice but... [ There's always the chance that they'll crush some ;; ]

[Which is... not actually something she was thinking about about at first, ironically enough; she's more concerned with helping the poor guy out and making sure nothing untoward happens to him.]

Of course not. It's no trouble. [-- Except that thought about the possibilities occurs to her, too, around then, and makes her pause. ... But, you know, at least this way he's got less chance of being stuck with someone dodgy, and surely if they've both managed this long already--] ... I'd be glad to help you.

Well...if you're sure. Want me to grab you a broom or something? I think I can make it back alright.

[-- Blink.] Whatever would make you happy. But-- if I get to use a broom, you should, too.

[ he's been sweeping them with his hands so...good idea, actually. ]

Okay, gimme one sec! [ he just needs to awkwardly navigate all this business ]

[She reflexively starts to take a step toward him, realize her mistake just in time, and draws her foot back again.]

I can go with you, if you want. [Can't be putting him out-- except would that be worse? She's not sure.]

Sure...d'you think you could make it that far without hitting any? [ Not for a lack of confidence in her does he ask--he's just trying to be considerate ;u; ]

I've made it this far without too much trouble...! [It's okay, she understands!] I'll manage.

Alright--I've sorta cleared a tiny path out? Just try and follow it. [ It's more like foot spaces than a real path though :>; he tried ]
