[In the middle of the night (or rather the early, early morning), there's a sound somewhat like falling hail. It only lasts a couple of seconds, and is followed by the howl of a single big gust of wind that seems to get through the cracks of windows and doors no matter how well closed or locked they were.
It seems the rain was a shower of candy hearts, and they'll be cropping up all over the place all day!
What could this possibly mean?]

Best guess falls into some kind of sorcery, I'm afraid. Much like our little rainfalls here. [ He digs around in a pocket and produces some for inspection. Clearly necessary when they've been falling from the sky all over the place. ] People are making themselves acquainted with strangers everywhere today.

Expectations.
[ There's a bit of arm-flailing-about before he rallies with a firm pat to the back to boot. Normally he'd be right to giving as good as he gets without a second thought and be pleased with the turn in events, but Gwen does have that way of being an exception. In Asgard, at the least, where she's one of the several people who haven't caught up to the latest slew of death and disaster Camelot likes to turn out now and again. Adorable, really, how young they all can look (and more often rather intimidating). He is almost entirely sure this unannounced contact is small inscribed glorified bits of chalk related in nature.
Still, though.
No reason to let any of that negativity ruin a perfectly good hug, especially from Guinevere. Known expert of hugging. Kind and generous lady among ladies. Gwaine thinks he can stand to ride this one out and look pleased in spite of himself. ]
