In the end the aroma from the food tables won out over the confusion of sights. Conan happily helped himself to a plate of sushi and dango. He hadn't thought he'd missed them but he knew that it was likely to be a while before he saw such familiar foods again.]

Hey, that's one observation to note. There seemed to be a really, really, REALLY wide range of food on the table. Enjoy watching him eat like a black hole that has been starving for days (though technically he ate, he just wants to be sure to get his fill before leaving) and once in a while stuffing food into a makeshift bag so it didn't look that suspicious. He has no shame in this though! You do what you gotta do.
Also, please take notice that he has literally close to no manners since nothing outside of eating exists right now. It doesn't seem like he's eating in a certain order either. Devouring everything around is the easiest and most efficient tactic. ]
