[He raises an eyebrow at that, just a bit.]

You should know that whatever God you're attached to, the stone on your bracelet will be the color of that God.

[The Doctor lifts his hand to show Turlough his; the stone is, of course, light teal-green.]

For example, I'm Baldr. Hel's color is a dark orange-red.

[If Turlough wants to try and hide what house he's in for whatever reason that's fine, but he should know that it's going to be very difficult with the colors there for everyone to see if they want to look.]

Turlough pauses for a moment looking at his wrist. Of course he wanted to hide which house he was from. Hel was the creepy death house-he didn't want to blatantly advertise that!]

I suppose this means I'll have to wear long sleeves as often as possible, [he said, pulling the sleeve of his jacket over his bracelet.]

There's a lot of information to take in; even I had trouble with it at first.

[He pauses a moment before remarking, as if it has nothing to do with the situation,] One of my other selves is in Hel, you know. The Ninth one--you'll meet him eventually. Black leather jacket, big ears.

[And oh look, there's the library. He gestures at the impressive building.]

I believe it's usually open to the public, so whenever you like you can take a look inside.

[The fact that one of the other Doctors was also in Hel was reassuring and worrying at the same time. Why was one of the Doctors in Hel? Still, he filed that away to talk about later.]

What sort of books does the library have? I imagine a place like Asgard isn't top notch on its science.

A great many I've never seen before, particularly of the fantasy genre. It has science books as well, as it happens; many of those I do recognize.

[Sadly nothing that will help them leave, but still. It's interesting.

And unless Turlough expresses interest in going inside the library, he'll walk right past it and head south. Knowing where the hospital is is usually a good thing in any city.]

I'll have to check them out sometimes, [Turlough said, as he walked past the library with the Doctor.]

I highly encourage it! There's nothing like a good book to give your mind broad pastures and sweeping avenues to explore to your heart's content. [The Doctor gestured broadly as he spoke, as though addressing a huge crowd. He drops the act after a moment with a quick smile.]

...besides which, I believe one of my other selves works there. I'm sure he would be delighted to have a chat with you, should you find yourself needing one.

My Eighth self. He wears a blue leather jacket normally, and he's a bit shorter than I am.

[He frowns faintly at that lack of description; he really ought to do a better job of it.]

...short curly hair, as well.

[Hopefully that'll be enough to help him identify Eight.]
